The Faerie-Heights mainly consist of 3 races, The stout White-elves (Grey-elves), the Evil, black skinned Rock-Elves (Drow-elves), and last the dwarves. Drow elves make their home in the midst of-, and below- the mountains. They have conquered the southern part of the island, while the White-elves controls the northern part. The dwarves well they make home where-ever the two elf races don't want to be or where there is room. The White-elves has made their cities 'afloat' between the mountain ridges. This is accomplished with huge cables attached to the mountains and the city. These cables holds the cities steadied high above the ground floor.

Unless you can afford to travel by air, or dares to, will travelling in this area consist of narrow ledges and protected tunnels through and around the mountains. The problem is that these tunnels are protected, or should I say controlled, by various factions. There is often only one tunnel that connects to places, and the one that controls (or protects) a tunnel may cash in fees from the travellers. Factions what are they then - it varies. Most often is it dwarves, Elves (White or Rock), mercenary bands, road thieves. The last two are often short lived as the other factions are quick to overtake such tunnels, and kill the thieves before they do to much damage to business.
