The Kajira Brand

I searched out every single reference from the books where the common kajira brand is described. I then removed all the redundancies and what remained is shown here. Of course, nothing was removed that depicted the shape only once. So, combined together, here is as complete a description as you will find anywhere.

I then went a step further and commanded several slaves to take this description and sketch for me their rendition of the brand. The ideas submitted were yet so varied that I resist posting said sketches. You'll just have to go with your own interpretation of this description.

It is about an inch and a half in height, and a half inch in width. A rather simple, delicate, graceful, almost floral mark, in cursive script. Appearing slender, more vertical, more like a stem with floral, cursive curled loops. A rather severe, straight line staff, with two, upturned, frondlike curls, adjacent to it, joined where they touch the staff on its right. It bears a distant, remote resemblance to the printed letter K.
