Download Sites

Download.com: Games Section-An excellent games site. Is probably the best best download site on the web now that Electricgames.com went out of business. It even has a good Mac section. The site is a part of the formidable c|net megasite.

Happypuppy.com: A large download/reveiw games site. I don't use this site very much(I genrally use Downl)oad.com) but it seems to be preety good overall. Note that this site has a web games section(which is the part of the site I do use).

Fileplanet.com: This is a very large download database focusing somewhat on game files that is part of the gamespy network. Please note that you need to get an account before you can downlad anything.
TIP: If you get an accuont on this site, don't give them your main e-mail account or you will get spammed to death.

Review sites

Gamefaqs.com: This is not really a review site, but it is close enough for me not to care. Gamefaqs is a HUGE database of user submitted walkthroughs. If you are stuck in a game, or just want to make things easier, this is the web site for you. In addition, there are user reviews, active forums, amusing polls, and loads of codes(well, links to codes, anyway). This is one of my favorite sites ever.

IGN.com: A very good review network. It has good, in depth PC game reviews in addition to reviews for every major console. Lots of adds, though. Oh, and IGN also has the best code database on the web. Good stuff.

Other

Archmage: This is a browser based, massively mulitiplayer, high fantasy strategy game with thousands of other players pitted against you. Be warned, this game is graphicly rather sparse and is mostly text based.

Google: You probably know about this site already, but it's so good that I can't leave it off. Google is the best search engine on the web and offers a clean, no nonsense interface, a large directory and an image search. Very, very good. 1
