Before

Before I took a class
Purity launched light around me
My stone is cast
Now I'm spent

Where are white veils
When it comes to "life"
Dancing and prancing on strife
Before

Turning blue and envious of you
Swirling gut wrench
Pain to my side and back
Take me back

Still stands the oak
Tangled thorns weave
Live and die
Beneath

Faster
Faster!
Do IT now!
Before...

Before I had this view of a mountain
This view of tragedy
A conjured bird
Or a real one

Fluffs in my face
Tasting my nose
I could be on a chair
or a dolphin

This one makes me ache
Nothing's all that great
This view is askew
New moss on the mold

Wretching tight tummy
Hurling up, up, up
Out of the roof, the overgrown mess
Out of truth.

Vomit on paper
Smeared with ink
Stained forever
Goodbye
