Saw your post in my guestbook (Village Fox) and decided to visit your site. Excellent job ... though I think you're a bit hard on yourself ... your poetry is quite good! I especially liked the Warrior in the Wind poem (inspired by famous painting: End of he Trail?). And I gotta say ... it's refreshing to see someone who can pull off the humor thing. Too many people come off as not very funny ... but your humor is fresh.

Some of your male jokes are just a bit much, don't you think? Remember, we're good for lawncare and vehicle maintenance at least. :)

Actually, I agree with you that men are pigs. As a man, I see that perhaps even better than you do because I see the side men only show when they're with other men.

I'm something of a pig myself, but I'm about as good of a man as you'll find. I don't do dishes and I don't do laundry. I rarely make baby formula. I avoid having anything to do with the baby whenever my wife is here.

I change oil, wash and wax cars and take care of other upkeep. I do all lawn work and build a new flower garden each spring. Eventually we won't have a yard left, but will have flowers everywhere. I maintain all the houseplants and t ke care of things like stopped-up toilets and burnt-out lightbulbs. I fix things when they break, and usually have the right tool for the job. Real men don't call repairmen or put their cars in the shop. (Real men are also disappearing at an alarming r te, based on the number of soft little wussies that I had to help when I worked at Wal-Mart. One guy wanted help to carry a two-drawer filing cabinet of all things. My four-year-old could carry that thing.)

Sex is probably a topic best left undiscussed. Suffice it to say that my wife is happy, and I'm pretty sure she's not faking it. :)

So you see, we're not all bad. Just most of us. Though as far as that goes here I am reasonably attractive and for the most part a caring, sensistive, decent man like you all say you want, but I was 19 before the first girl ever conde cended to go out with me. No date for the prom, no date at any time in high school or my entire freshman year of college for that matter. Closest thing I ever had to a date before my wife met me and staked out her claim was the little air-headed bimbo c ickie who stood me up for the Sweetheart Dance in high school.

Oh well, I can't dance anyway, and she had the IQ of a box of rocks. Ended up marrying one of my good friends several years later and then running off on him while he was away at sea.

Anyway, random thoughts from a visitor and GeoCities neighbor. Feel free to visit my site and comment, or not.

And how do we get these guestbook thingies to work?
