The artwork is one of the things which took the most time.  Many images I took
from the internet, and manipulated through the use of a paint program.  Examples are some
of the weapons found amongst the Pyramids suit.  Other things which I took from the internet
where pictures of animals.  The other half of the are examples of my artwork which also fell under
pen of the paint program and photographs which I took The photograph where all black and white except
for 32-26 of them.  What I currently have finished is an alpha version of the game.  The Beta version will have
no internet images, but rather images that I have taken myself with my 35mm camera and color film.

This first image is from one of the guardians.  I chose it for its enigmatic look.  What is it?  IT is an experiment with light.  I set up a camera in my yard at night and opened the shutter.  Then I went way out into my yard and turned away from the camera.  I lit a Sparkler and began to swirl it out in front of me until it about died on its own.  I ran back and closed the shutter and, thus I had the picture, in black and white.  The red coloration is due to the paint program.
The lick of the dragon started as a concept.  I hadn't the slightest idea what I was going to do, so I looked up tongue using an image search tool.  The first picture I came to was someont showing off their tongue peircing.  Well, I thought the image was perfect, it needed some work but it was perfect.  I took the image into my paint program and went to work.  It was black and white to begin with so I thought I'll leave it at that and emphasize the tongue and the peircing, so I toned those and sat back.  Well perhaps the tongue could be a bit more pointed and maybe a dragon has a long shout and smooth skin all down it.  I played with the blur tool for about an hour.  What I had left is what you see.  It's also one of my favorites.
The chimera is one of many pictures I found over the internet.  Someone had very graciously put many images from coloring books on the internet.  Thoroughly amazed and wasting many hours looking through the images I found the ram, the lion, and the snake.  Using a variation of the classic definition of the Chimera I arrived at my own version.  What you see is many textured and gradient fills within the black and white framework of the coloring book images.  In essense I pulled out my electronic crayons and went to town!
This is a picture of your truly.  The mask is from another art project.  I had it on a styrafoam wig head for quite some time.  When I began to think about what I wanted the torture masters to look like.  I thought of the movie medevil torture people and my mask pretty much fit the bill.  I had asked a friend of my to wear it while I take the picture but he suggested that I wear it instead as he knew how to use a 35mm camera, and why not put my picture throughout the cards while I am at it.  I agreed.  I pulled in my gut and puffed out my chest and became a torture master.  Which since I made the mask too small for my head it was torture being so.
The bladesmith image is a product of two seperate images.  The first happened to be an anvil that a friend owned.  I took a color picture and it came out beautifully.  To me, the anvil illustrated or symbolized the making of something.  I needed to illustrate the making of a specific thing.  So I designed logos for each of my six smiths.  The double bladed axe meant blades to me, so I used it to mean a bladesmith.
Logos are an important part of my game.  It identifies
the suits from one another, It identifies my game from others on the market.
Logos also allow people to remember my game more easily through the use of symbols.
Symbols such as those directly above.  Respectively: Pyramids, Pharoahs, Sands, Jackals.
