Reuven was just a college boy. His friend Paul came up missing and he has been in search of him ever since. He stumbled upon Solace, the bar in New Orleans, unknowing what he would find there.
He found there his cousin who informed him of the kindred. his cousin, Mica, told him of a different parallell universe called Chaos. The ruler there is dying and there is a line of progressors for the throne. It just so happens Reuven is one of them.
He is learning now from Mica how to be a Lord of Chaos.
