:: Outpost Comics Online store ::
          We have manage to get another newsletter out, finally. The months of February and March have been our months of rest. With a big slow down from the Christmas and New Year season coming to a close. We have also decided to switch our newsletter from a monthly to bi-monthly, giving us more time to get it together along with the increasing updates we have to do with the store.
          As a quick note, April is our inventory month. So if things are slow in our responses to you by email, we are knee deep in inventory and can't find the computer. We should be adding more comics, toys and DVDs after the inventory is done. We will also be updating our shopping cart software to make your shopping experience a bit easier and entertaining.

:: AUCTIONS ::
          I talked to the guys at Point Blank Auction to see what their hold-up is about getting the auction site up and running and found out that it is up and running. They are doing a final switch to a better hosting company due to the constant complaints about the site being down (I wonder who those complaints came from :)). The site is still free for use and we are encouraging this since we are trying to keep cost down with out having to tag additional fees to your purchases just to put them on auction. Well, if you visit (if you have not) you will notice that we are already listing products on it. This is an opportunity to pick up something you we looking at on the our site for a discount.

:: Problem Solved  ::
          Thanks to one of our loyal customers we were able to fix a problem we didn't know we had. He identified a problem with our discount code for frequent customers (FREQ2004), which was not working. So, after a month of code searching and testing, our webmaster was able to get it back up and running for you guys and girls. As a special thanks we gave him his own personal code for a one time 10% discount. Thanks a bunch and make that webmaster earn his pay.

:: The discount codes that are presently active are ::
FREQ2004 - For our loyal customers, offering a 5% discount on all merchandise.
MIL2004- For our troops in uniform, working hard and keeping us safe. This one offers a 10% discount on all merchandise, but to use this one you must have a shipping or billing address that is identifiable as Military (APO/FPO).

:: Outpost Forum ::
          Now with the end of the third season of Enterprise, many have questions as to what is next and where the series will go after the end of the conflict with the Xindi. Well, this is a place to talk to other fans and see what is going on or see if you have common expectations for the series. Also, you can talk about Comics and other stuff. Need I say more... Talk to your friends, make new friends and find out about what is going on. Also, this is the place we use to list all problems with our site or shopping cart. Pick a topic or create one. Just have fun..... and please keep the conversations clean (if you know what I mean).

:: Contracts ::
          We are still trying to get the contract listed in our last newsletter, but we have found some problems along the way. One, is that we are having a hell of a time going trough the negotiations with a translator. Everything has to be translated into Japanese for approval (so they can understand what we want) and then in English (so we can understand what they can give us). So as it stands the statement from the last newsletter, "Right now, TRT Communication (our parent company) is working on a contract with a Japanese company that sells Statues (Japanese Characters), Gundam Models and Japanese Edition Cards (Yu-Gi Oh!, Dragon Ball, etc.)", is the same except that we have pushed our closing to a possible October 2004. Things just never seem to be easy these days.  As for the Anime DVDs and Graphic Novels, they  have been pushed back to May 2004.
