Tar Valon

Tar Valon is perhaps the greatest city built since the Breaking. Built by Ogier, it is the site of the last remaining Grove. The Aes Sedai live in this great city, inside the sanctity of the White Tower. For years, the Tower had been the symbol of peace and consistency. But after Elaida usurped the power of Siuan Sanche, the Amyrlin, the Tower was broken. Many Aes Sedai fled to Salidar where they established their own Tower. Egwene al'Vere was named Amyrlin, and her Keeper, Sheriam. They are now on their way back to Tar Valon, to retake the Tower with the help of Gareth Bryne and his large army.
