Evening Activities

Bob interviews the Truck to assertion 'what in hell was he up to?'. Truck decides to burn his special lucky Delta point to make certain that he would win any roll off with Bob. Then he tells Bob he was possessed (played by Dabe in 1st session so about right) but that he was all right now (played by Sukh so not necessarily true). Bob makes his roll to see if the Truck is telling the truth, any normal roll and the Trucks story will be swallowed hook line and sinker. Four 1's out of 5 dice. Disastrous reading, he now believes that the Truck thinks he was possessed but in fact it is a split personality coming out. One of them is a relatively sane individual, but the other is a self-interested, scheming, management-hating schizophrenic (not unusual in DP). Bob makes a note to keep an eye on the Trucks independent actions and then release's him to go to his quarters.

Meanwhile

A DP Healer heals Dr Enigma up. Plaster to come off in the morning. Injury not as bad as expected due to massed use of Delta points by Dr Enigma.

Frank Furlong (Fire Killer) arrives footsore from his long walk across town. Informed that Bob will see him after finishing up with the Truck.

After having a coffee Bob arrives to talk to Frank who had been waiting in reception for a half hour. Bob asks Frank about his meeting with Defiance (Treasonable activity, so Frank looking good for a fall guy if needed). Frank observed to be agitated and uncomfortable when talking about the Ice Eyes.

All Folks get some much need sleep overnight.

A New Morning

Truck remembers that he had arranged to sell the Butchers shop that afternoon. Tells Bob who sends the Truck, Bolt and Dr Enigma to conduct the sale (despite assuring Mr Jones that the shop would not be sold) and then to trail the contacts back to their lair.

Bob and Frank pursue investigation on the planning Committee, Company’s, what is been sold to whom, make up of explosives etc.

Operation Butcher

Team Butcher set up their operation at the shop. They have got a tracker which they are planning to attach to the bad guys car with the use of Dr Enigmas telekinetic powers.

Team arranges itself all round the location to keep themselves low profile. Dr Enigma dresses himself as a phone engineer and then tries to climb a telegraph pole. Fails this badly so then gives himself a mental boost and shoots to the top. Bolt hides himself in the back room. The Truck has to act as front man as he has seen the ‘buyers’ before. Someone tries to buy meat before the Truck turns the shop sign to “Closed”.

Time passes.

More time passes.

Even more time passes.

Truck thinks he should have arranged a specific time for the sale. Now in the afternoon.

Time passes.

Dr Enigma amuses himself observing people in the street from his vantage point at the top of his pole.

He sees a young women approach.

Car in the distance.

She seems to have bare shoulders.

Car gets closer.

She is wearing shorts as well.

It’s a black sedan.

Her top is observed to have narrow straps but seems to be a loose crop top.

Sedan pulls up outside the shop down the street.

Interesting movements inside the top.

Four guys get out of the car and go into the shop.

Dr Enigma await the moment when she passes below him.

The sale not going well in the shop as the buyers did not respond well to the Truck raising the price from $200,000 to $1 Million on a whim (Skitzo).

Dr E observes some nice curves above the top edge of the top and that it seems to gape.

Buyers threaten the Truck thinking that he is a simple Butcher (half right).

She has no bra!!! Dr E has to concentrate to hold onto the pole, no the telegraph pole.

The Truck thinks it is time to assert himself and throws the lead buyer though the window. Ahh this was going to be easy.

Dr E disturbed from his observations by a large crash up the street. Damn, the job.

Truck threatens the other guys to not give him any trouble.

Guy-3 fires a lightening bolt into the Truck who falls back into a display cabinet. Ahh maybe not so easy.

Bolt comes out of the back room telling the group that they had better come peaceably, as he did not want to hurt them.

The Guy-1 outside the shop unpacks a gun from the boot of the car and moves towards the shop.

Guy-2 leaps on the Truck for a fight. He proves to be stronger even than the Truck.

Guy-3 fires a lightening bolt at Bolt who laughs it off, saying, “is that the best you can do?”

Guy-4 teleports behind the bolt and fires a gun into him. Bolt not laughing now. A 2nd shot hit the Bolt in the head almost causing him to black out.

Dr E slips the tracker under the car while Guy-1 is looking for targets in the shop. Once the tracker was placed, Dr E decides that is time for him to join the action. He disarms the Guy-1 in the street with a quick telekinetic action Guy-1 showing quick reactions realises what has happened and scans the surroundings to see who did it. Dr E is observed. Guy-1 picks up the gun resisting Dr E’s attempt to knock it out of his hands. Lets loose on full Auto, which Dr E turns away with a mental shield, hurrah. Unfortunately he no longer is holding onto the pole so falls to the ground. He lands on his head and falls unconscious.

Inside Guy-4 looks like he is building up to something big.

The fight between the Truck and Guy-2 continues on with the Truck ever so slowly gaining the upper hand.

The Bolt just retaining conscious, fires a lightening bolt into Guy-4 which cuts him in half.

Guy-4 fires a particularly big bolt into the Truck, which smashes him back across the shop again. The Buyers take that moment to disengage and drive off.

 Butcher Wrap Up

Bolt and Dr Enigma not in a good way so the Truck put in a call to Headquarters for pick up and emergency medical attention. This is passed onto Bob, who veto’s the request saying he will be out with a medical team to check on the situation himself.

Delta points now burnt up to keep the lads conscious.

Sixteen minutes later Bob turns up. While the Bolt & Dr E gets medical treatment Bob questions Truck on why he upped the price. After all if the deal had been done at the arranged price the fact that a Delta Prime team was on the case would have been kept secret. The Truck in full skitzo mode showing his attitude to management said “Let me explain sir if you can understand” before coming up with a feeble reason for upping the price. Bob lets him babble on while making a mental note of even more insubordination from the Truck.

A quick search of the body of the Teleporter find a mark on his arm. Bob knows he has seen the mark before but can not remember where.

Meanwhile the bad guys make a call to find out about any DP operations in this area of town. When this is confirmed they decide to dump the car rather than the planned return to base.
