NO WAY IN

Now in association with Acclaim’s WWF Attitude, the WRF bring to you No Way In!!!

A whole packet of party poppers goes off, somebody is a bit too close to the packet when the last one is let off, and several sparklers waved around (WRF budget increased slightly since Royal Huddle). Several burnt finger tips later...

JR: Welcome to the sold out arena here in Miami Florida. I’m Jim Ross here at ringside with Jerry "The King" Lawler, and what a night we have. The WRF championship is on the line tonight as The Rob faces Lame, and possibly an end of an era match up in the most vial match ever dreamt up, Dude Lust faces Triple R in a "Rage in a Cage" match. Dude Lust must win to keep his job.
King: Yeah and if he loses Triple R will personally fire his butt!

Match 1: Intercontinental Championship. HBeadleK defeats Redneck

The "Maidstonian Crappler" couldn’t produce any of his famed technical wrestling in this match. The "Heart-Ache Kid" dominated for most of the match. The only point where it looked like we could have an upset was when Redneck tried to lock in the Crappler Crossface. However HBK used his experience to wisely move nearer to and grab one of the ropes. On releasing the crossface hold Redneck went for the Crossface Chicken-wing, but HBK, realising it was a pointless move, was able to break free. HBeadleK picked up the victory after the Sweet Chin Music found its target.

Match 2: Tag Team Title. Too Fucked Up defeat Wackulytes

This was always going to be an interesting match, with two very different styles of wrestling, power and aerial/technical, met against each other.

The power moves of the Wackulytes seemed to be overwhelming, however after Too Weird managed to successfully lock in the Sharpshooter on Faroocolin, Too Fucked Up were able to up the pace. This proved too much for the Wackulytes as with Faroocolin injured after the Sharpshooter, Wackshaw fell victim to an aerial assault by Too Weird and Too Strange. Too Weird ensured us of new tag team champions when he used the TKO on Wackshaw and referee Tim Black counted to three.

Next was a collage trailer telling the story of how Tajj ended up in a handicap match against Rajkishi and Draven. The movie shows how Tajj caused a double count-out on the Raw Is Pants following the Royal Huddle.

JR: I think Tajj needs to realise that where he came from [ECR] he may have been able to use unorthodox measures to take out opponents, but here in the WRF that results in dissqualifications and stirrs up trouble.
King: I just hope that Rajkishi doesn’t use that damn butt drop on Tajj, his butt crack would swallow Tajj whole!

Match 3: Handicap 2 on 1. Rajkishi and Draven defeat Tajj

For the second time tonight it was a one sided match, Rajkishi and Draven laying into Tajj right from the bell. Double teaming was too much for Tajj who, after not landing a single move was pinned by Rajkishi 1-2-3.

Match 4: Lightweight Title Triple Threat. Ajdge defeats The Bishop and Shane McWeel

The Bishop began the match by condemning Ajdge and his dark side affiliate Gangrob (who accompanied Ajdge to the ring). Shane McWeel took advantage of the arguing and opened the match up with a double axe-handle to the back of Ajdge. The Bishop joined in and double teaming commenced. Ajdge was beaten back into a corner and managed to form some sort of come back when he reversed Shane McWeel’s attempt at a superplex, into a tornado ddt. Gangrob kept The Bishop busy on the outside by trash talking him. The Bishop seemed to be more concerned with "exorcising" the "Gothic One", than winning the Lightweight Belt.

Ajdge hit Shane McWeel with the Impaler, covered, but the referee had his back turned trying to handle Gangrob and The Bishop. Ajdge got up, walked over to The Bishop, and along with the words "Bow down to the Dark Side" hit The Bishop with a crucifix powerbomb and picked up the victory and the Lightweight belt.

Match 5: Hardcore Championship. Big Barnman defeats Black Magic Brian Cole

The hardcore match began with the busting open of the Barnman after a steel chair shot to the face by Brian Cole. The match was brutal however when it looked like the Barnman was on the way to an early victory, after Brian Cole missed a swanton bomb and landed on a trash can, the Mean Street Posse came out to take advantage of the 24/7 rule with the hardcore championship. Robney and Joey Aj laid into the Barnman and dragged Brian Cole out of the ring and fought with him to the backstage area. Robney pinned Brian Cole however as the ref counted Joey Aj pulled Robney off of Brian Cole and went to pin Cole himself. Japanese tag team Collar En Tie turned the corner and saw what was going on. They too wanted the opportunity for the hardcore belt and WRF gold. Collar En Tie started on the Posse. Brian Cole came to and quietly made a quick exit leaving the two tag teams brawling in the corridor. Cole returned to the stage in search of the Barnman, however the Barnman was laying in wait and clocked Cole with the night-stick pinned him and became new hardcore champion.

The cameras cut back to the corridor where Collar En Tie and the Posse were still fighting. Keith Gas, the third member of the Posse joined his team mates and asked what they were fighting for. When he informed them that the then hardcore champion had escaped and lost the belt to the Barnman, Robney and Joey Aj hit the High Society on Taka and went in search of the Barnman. Collar En Tie were left on the floor wondering what went wrong.

A second collage trailer aired telling the story of the ongoing rivalry between Dude Lust and Triple R. It particularly focused on the events of the past few weeks on Raw and SmackUp. Triple R in a triple threat no.1 contendership match for the WRF championship on Raw, and how Dude Lust interfered and helped The Rob get his title shot tonight and how he cost Triple R a title shot. It then went to SmackUp where the two of them met in conversation...

Triple R: I want you in Miami, Paul. I want you in a match that will end this once and for all. I want you to put your career on the line.
Dude: You know Triple R, I would put my career on the line in a match against you at No Way In. The only problem I see is that we have given the fans nearly every type of match possible, I don’t think a match of this importance should be a straight basic one-on-one encounter. No, I think the fans deserve more than that.
Triple R: What are you suggesting Paul?
Dude: I’m not suggesting Triple R, no, you have had your stipulation for this match so let me make mine. I’ll put my career on the line against you at No Way In in a "Rage In A Cage" match.
[Fans erupt in cheers]
King: Oh my god! Don’t do it Triple R, think of Stephanie, you don’t want to go in a cage against Dude Lust!
Triple R: You put your career on the line and you get me in cage at No Way In!
King: No!
Michael Vole: King! King I can’t believe it Triple R, Dude Lust in a "Rage In A Cage" match at No Way In!
***End of trailer.***

Cage is lowered.

JR: [referring to cage] It is a vile, custom built structure for pain.
King: Oh my God.

Match 6: Rage in a Cage. Dude Lust defeats Triple R

Paul Foley looked at starting this match from the top of the cage, but given that the cage has no roof he soon decided that it would be safer to start the match from the inside. Natasha accompanied Triple R to the ring.

Anything goes in a match like this and the objective is for a wrestler to touch the floor, with both feet, on the other side of the cage.

Natasha handed a sledge hammer to Triple R which he took into the cage with him. Dude Lust took a steel chair and in shades of Paulkind, on his right hand was Mr. Socko!

Dude Lust started off with a double underhook suplex on Triple R who was taken by surprise of this offensive beginning. RRR soon slowed the match down to his pace after hitting the steel chair as Dude Lust went for a chair shot. Paul went down with his forehead busted open. Triple R headed on to climb the cage. Dude Lust came to and used the sledge hammer to low blow RRR and bring him crashing back down to the mat.

Fighting was furious after that, with Triple R using knee smashes and suplexes to try to slow down a determined Dude Lust.

Dude Lust made the breakthrough when after a double arm DDT, he hit RRR with Mr. Socko and the Mandible Claw. Triple R seemed to be out as Dude Lust began to make his ascent up the cage wall. Triple R began climbing as well and they both met on the top. Just balancing the two exchanged blows, before Dude Lust went for a second Mandible Claw missed and Triple R threw Dude Lust off of the top of the cage. Paul went crashing through the Spanish announcer’s table, which seems to always have a target on it when somebody goes through a table.

King: Ahh!
JR: You killed him, you’ve killed him. As God is my witness, he’s broken in half.

Dude Lust clambered to his feet...

Dude: No its all right JR, I’m fine really.

Dude Lust won the Rage in a Cage match and saved his career.

Ring announcer Lilian Garcia...

Lilian: And the winner of the match Dude Lust!

JR: I swear that man feels no pain.

Triple R staggers away with Natasha looking back at Dude Lust, being treated by EMTs, and can be seen to say that "This is not over Foley, not yet."

Backstage Michael Vole interviews The Rob.

[Fans erupt at sight of The Rob]

Michael: Now Rob what can be going through your mind as you get ready to face Lame ton...

He is interrupted by The Rob holding his hand up in Michael’s face. The Rob takes the mic.

Rob: Finally, The Rob has come...home. Tonight The Rob faces The Risen, tonight The Great One faces the Inhuman One. But The Rob made the promise of the promise of the promise, he garun-damn-tees that tonight after all the dust ha settled The Rob will be, once again, the people’s WRF champion. And yes The Rob stands at 6 foot 2, two hundred sixty-one pounds, and The Risen stands at 6 foot 11, three hundred twenty pounds. The Rob says just bring it. If you smelllllll...what The Rob...[chants of Robby Robby]...is cookin’

Match 7: WRF Championship. The Rob defeats The Risen

The people’s champ after making promises backstage came out on fire against The Risen. The two exchanged right-hands in the middle of the ring before the Rob whipped The Risen into the ropes into a spinebuster. Miami, Florida cheered as they anticipated the most electrifying move. However The Risen sat bolt up right as soon as the Rob looked for the elbow. The Risen began a comeback that would see the action switch from in the ring to the outside.

After bashing The Risen’s head on the remaining announcer’s table and rolling him back in the ring. The Rob hit the Rob Bottom, and then the fans got what they wanted.

JR: It wouldn’t be a night if we didn’t see the elbow.

The Rob landed the People’s Elbow, much to the delight of the fans, and pinned The Risen for the title.

As The Rob climbed the turnbuckle and his music played suddenly the arena went black and the music stopped. The lights came back on to see The Rob falling off of the turnbuckle from a chair shot by none other than the Underledger!

The Risen then chokeslammed the Great One and together with the Underledger made his way up the ramp.

The Rob and the Underledger exchanged glances as The Rob struggled to raise the WRF championship belt above his head as No Way In ended.

JR: My god! What the hell was that all about? All I can say is this, Raw will be explosive tomorrow night.
