Perhaps you've seen the ads "Prepare for final nights" Vampire is comming out with a
third edition! It is going to be "revamped for the
21st century." It will supposedly have updated quotes
and material (condensing all of the core books back
into one book), and it's due in October 1998. Go to

One of the biggest problems (at least for me) is naming my characters. I just can't come up with a good name, and end up calling characters named Bob. This site is An Onomastikon, (Dictionary of Names) and has names from all over the world.
Here is a zipped character generator I have made. It uses the 3D6 seven times, discard one, and place the scores here you want. Download instructions:
On a PC: Right click until a menu appears, and select save file or save link.

- In case you don't have the (out of print) WoD Gypsy, this page has all you need to know about character creation, and other rules. It is written for Mind's Eye Theatre, but most of the rules are the same.
