The colossal, wedge-shaped capital starships known as Star Destroyers are perhaps the most-feared and most instantly recognizable vessels roaming the space lanes. Star Destroyers are massive capital scale starships ranging in size from 1.6 to 17.5 KM in length. There are sevreal varieties of Star Destroyers we have chosen to discuss, read what we have to say about each of them below.

The Imperial-class Star Destroyer is 1.6 KM long and bristles with offensive weaponry. With an amazing 60 turbolaser batteries, 60 ion cannon batteries, 10 tractor beam projectors, and a full wing of TIE fighter (seventy-two starfighters) this vessal has few equals in combat. Heavy military grade shield generators and a sophisticated sensor array round out this capital ships exterior emplacements. An Imperial-class vessal will also carry dropships, shuttles, repair vessals, deep-space probes, an assortment of specialized droids, field artillery weapons, walkers, ground assualt vehicles, and Imperial Stormtroopers. With 25,000 of these craft at his disposal, the Emporer maintains his tyranical rule over the galaxy.

One of the newer class' of capital starships being produced here at Kaut Drive Yards is the Super-class Star Destroyer. At an astonishing 8 KM in length, they even dwarf their massive Imperial-class counterparts. Though the Super-class is approximately five times as powerful as its smaller predecessor, the few currently in service are not primarily used as combat starships. Instead these vessals are used as command ships, guiding fleets and seving as headquarters from which to conduct planetary assaults and space battles.

The newest class of Star Destroyer, the Eclipse-class, is a breathtaking 17.5 KM in length. The ship was designed to cause fear amongst enemy forces, as a frightened enemy is a defeated enemy. The Elcipse-class' hull and shielding are so strong, that it can simply ram enemy vessals without hesitation. The Eclipse-class also has two other notable features; 10 gravity well projectors, to bar enemy fleets from hyperspace travel, and an axial superlaser. Though "only" powerful enough to crack the crust of a planet, it's primary function was to quikly disipate enemy forces of their main battle cruisers. The Eclipse-class also carries fifty squadrons of TIE interceptors (six hundred ships) and eight squadrons of TIE bombers. With an Elicpse-class vessal at your command, there is next to nothing that is capable of stopping you.
