Time passed quickly as Kevin enjoyed spending his time with Morgan. He had found that she was delighted in everything she saw and they did together. One time, he had taken her to the muesum. Morgan's eyes were filled with a childish glee as she stared at the paintings by Van Gogh, De Vinci, and Bourguerue. She was especially enthralled with the Pre-Raphelite paintings, but as they passed the Monet exhibit, she squinted her eyes, trying to focus. Kevin laughed, being enterained by her enthusiasm in exploring each picture to the fullest, sometimes pointing out the minute details.

The play he had taken her to had gotten an equally excited response. He watched her as she became swept away with the story and the characters. He mused to himself how he was going to keep her from floating back to the car.

Even the outdoor concert was enough to take her way on dreamy coulds of happiness. Sitting out in the grass seats, they sat on the blanket and watched the orchestra as it played Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, one of his favorites.

After the concert, they walked through the park.

"This is such a beautiful place," she said as they walked through a clearing.

He nodded, as he turned and looked at her. Her expression held that same innocence it always did, as if the world were completely new to her. He was glad that he had been able to show her some many things that she seemed to enjoy, and every week, it was something new. It made the six months that they had been together seem like only weeks.

Now that he was faced with an anniversary, he knew he had to find someway of expressing the way he truly felt about her. His feelings had changed from deep admiration, to a passionate love. Taking it all into consideration, he finally decided.

one of his friends owned a house overlooking the ocean. Kevin managed to convince his friend to switch houses with him for a weekend so that he and Morgan could spend a couple romantic evenings together. He then called a French resaraunt his friend had reccommended, and made resevations. He then left work to arrange some other surprises to await Morgan.

His day at work felt like it would never end. He kept looking at the clock above his computer monitor, only to find that 3 minutes had passed since he had last looked. But soon, the hour came and he raced home from work.

Bursting through the front door in dramatic excitement, he told Morgan to hurry up and pack some clothing for a couple of days. She laughed in disbelief and asked why. He only smiled and replied, "Just because," as he put his arm around her in a hug, ushering her into the bedroom so she could gather her things.

Soon, they were driving along a road that ran though the bluffs. Morgan couldn't contain her curiousity and continually tried to pry information out of Kevin, to which, he would simply smile and answer, "You'll see."

"Will I like it?" she asked.

"Since when have I taken you somewhere you didn't like?" he replied playfully sarcastic. "Don't worry. It won't be long."

As they drove, Kevin spent the time looking at the ocean and at Morgan. She looked lovely, the wind blowing through her hair fromthe open window, reminding him of when they had first met. He still couldn't believe it had all happened. It was also unbelievable how much his life had changed since that day. He was constantly amzed at how happy she made him, and how goos it felt to have her around and care for. He hoped that the night would be as equally special and life changing as well.

They drove into the driveway of the house and Morgan looked around in wonder as he came around and opene the car door for her, helping her out. He led her to the dorr as she drank in all the sights. He opened the front door, then lifted her off the ground and proceeded to carry her across threshhold, lugage and all. She laughed and kicked her legs in surprise as she clung to him.

He stopped in the middle of the entryway. "Well? What do you think?" he asked as he turned himself around so that she could see.

She laughed and thumped his chest playfully with her hand. "I think you need to let me down, you brute!" she muttered teasingly.

He chuckled and placed her gently down on her feet. She walked farther into the house, her eyes widening in the same fascination all new things did. She suddenly turned around, smiling. "Oh Kevin! It's gorgeous!" Her voice was breathless.

"Come and loo at the view,"he replied, taking her hand and leading her to two large glass doors. He opened one of them and they walked outside onto the patio. Looking out past the railing, they could see the ocean and the sun setting, just above the horizion, blaing the sky with reds, oranges, and pinks. The light gently touched Morgan's skin, making her soft features radiant. Kevin was overwhelmed, yet again, by her beauty.

"It's so lovely..." she said quietly, then turned to his with a questioning look. "But why?"

"Have you forgotten? It's our six month anniversary! I thought all you women kept track of those things?" he said jokingly. He couldn't contain his beaming.

"Don't teast me," she replied, giving him a side-ways grin. "So that's what you've been so quiet about! Well, aren't you so clever!"
