Folder in hand, Scully walked in, and froze upon hearing Mulder's
next words into the phone.

"I agree, it is mysterious.  Strange and wondrous, even, but not
an X-file.  Anyway, a lot of people find the idea of two genders
limiting.  The Cheyenne, for example, had a third, the berdache.
The Omani had the xanith."

"Yes, things may change, but it'll be okay."

"Why are you talking to me about this, and not to him?"

"Yes, but I only majored in it, I never practiced.  I'm not qualified
to talk to him, even if I were so inclined, which I am not."

"No, Dr. Scully can't help you either."  Mulder looked up and winked
at her.  "Frohike, it is not that simple.  I can't just open an
X-file because Langley is considering a sex change operation.  Look
at it this way, maybe you'll finally have a date on Friday nights. 
Frohike?  Frohike?"
