Sand-hued skin stretches tight over angular frame, flawless, harsh in its purity. A human wolfhound; lean, tall, long-nosed, singleminded. Amond-shaped pale brown eyes are intent, their focused intensity turning inward. Cleft chin and high cheekbones make for flat, nearly hollow cheeks, not as severe as the deep indentation for waist in her long-legged silhouette. Shaggy black hair, brindled with hints of deep red, hangs to her waist, a part of her cut off from that ruthless energy. | Ash-blonde linen is worked into princess-seamed pantsuit, an outfit that emphasizes her hard slenderness and the hints of red in that dark hair. Dusty cinnamon fits close to her feet in well-made shoes. Hair is pulled back into a severe chignon, wound about with a grey ribbon. The half-sash that accents her incredible waist is hung with several battered leather pouches, while curling designs in pewter dangle from her ears.
Razi, or Shaharaza, comes from Keroon, born to Igenite Herder Aharaz and Lemosian Weaver Shaia, both posted to Keroon where they met and handfasted. Aharaz courted Shaia for five Turns before she finally gave in and accepted his betrothal ring. Shaharaza is an only child, and, her mother declares, going to stay that way. A wild thing much in love with things that moved and the outdoors, Razi was a sore trial to her quiet, indoorsy mother. As Shaia said "I became a weaver to get /out/ of the influence of my wild brothers, and now I find I've borne a daughter who's wilder than they ever were." But Aharaz was quite taken with the child, making sure she knew the best of all their worlds--the best of Keroon, the best of his Hall and the best of Shaia's.

Having considered herself grown-up at eleven, now-seventeen-Turn-old Razi still doesn't understand, or even like, children. She's not quite arrogant, no, but so self-assured that it's profoundly annoying. Razi has never failed anything in her life, and it shows. She considers herself the elite, and makes no effort to comprehend those who aren't. Still, when she Impressed green Chareth her first time Standing, she seems to have mellowed a bit. Razi continues to strive for excellence, continues to have about as much humor as a stewed clam, and continues to be a terror to those she deems 'lesser' than herself, but the very faintest of smiles lurks around the corners of her thin lips, and she doesn't seem to mind her own (to an outsider) one-sided conversations with the fiery-tempered Chareth. |

Razi learned everything; she loved her studies, indoors and out. They moved several times; several times to Southern Boll, when Shaia couldn't stand to be away from her craft any longer, and back to Keroon, and for a few Turns, to Telgar.

Unfortunately, Razi did not make friends easily, spending more time with adults than with children. Shaia proclaimed her daughter 'brilliant', and it was so. She didn't understand childish games and troubles with schooling. But, she won every race and physical event they came up with, a lithe, smooth-moving girl who seemed to do everything effortlessly.
