A chapter and a half has been added to the Rapina story. The new page is
called
Jooldig
I know it's been a long time coming, but this represents a lot of small
installments put together in an era where I have little time to write.

I added a guest book to the Rapina site so that people can
post comments/suggestions/feedback about the Rapina stories.

a much better email service than iname degenerated into, I think. Please
feel free to send feedback, and wish lists for what you'd like to see happen in
the stories in the future.
I have continued working feverishly to get Pedigree caught up
to the time Captive Souls takes place and have largely finished catching
up. Captive Souls, co-authored by Dark Icon (Marc Washington) is
now beginning to appear on the page as we write it. It will also be
included on the Dark Icon page.

I have been working madly on Pedigree Of the Gladiators in preparation for
[Captive Souls] a collaborative venture already being drafted by Dark Icon and
I. In it Blaymore and Zade will return to their country of origin and to
the world of Nathaniel Ellis.

Some of these chapters still need a small bit of editing, but since the first
episode of [Captured Souls] is likely to come out soon (Dark Icon is a hard,
fast worker ) I felt I better put them on the web ASAP. This way readers following Pedigree can be caught up on the events that took place in Nathaniel
Ellis' world before the return of his two runaway slaves, Blaymore and Zade, and
those simply interested in what came before the [Captured Souls] story can read
Pedigree in its entirety.
What about Rapina? I do have some new material I have added to the Rapina
saga, and as soon as the [Pedigree] and [Captured Souls] dust begins to settle,
if not before, I will put it up on the web.

4/24/2001 Added this news page and a whole lot more.
The Rapina Story has been getting a well-deserved face-lift of
late.
- html editor of choice switched to MS Front Page due to
spell check on the fly feature. This allows me to compose right in the
editor, update and make emergency changes easily without schlepping the
draft from MS Word to Netscape Composer and dealing with the quirks of those
two programs. Yes, I can write html by hand, but for fiction writing,
it's just a bother.
- A plot error wherein the notoriously intelligent Thane did
not adequately protect himself from running afoul of the law is in the
process of being fixed.
- Towards that end there is a new section (the one in white
text) containing an escape scene on The Jolly Roger page.
- Scenes after the new escape scene added to The
Jolly Roger page have been edited to fit with it.
- New material has been added to the and of the story on the Touch
of Darkness page.
- A modified .alt dragons inn geoxl map has been created and
added to show many of the political boundaries and story locations for the Chronicles
of Rapina.
- Regrettably the story's second author
who added some very nice characterization and flavor to the story has had to
leave due to being too busy to write consistently. His characters are
in the process of being gracefully written out of the story, and there will
always be the chance for return visits.
