October 4, 2000

I've been trying out slightly different things with tables. Nothing spectacular, I'm just going to be going through many of my pages, and putting the text in tables, giving them margins of sorts. I've also fixed the menu bar, taking out my symbols, allowing more room for the roll-over menu items. Again, just slight 'look' changes.

I've also added a picture of Wufei, from Gundam Wing, to the side of this page (see him over there? ^_^ ). This image doesn't do anything.. I just put it there, because it was physically too small to add to the Fanart section. I'm also going to move my 'adopted' pictures to their own page, and adding that page to the menu, just so that this page will load a little faster. I might add a link or two to the Links section, if I have time (so.. very... busy...). I might add one more picture to the Sydney Losstarot gallery. If that doesn't get done today, I'll finish it tomorrow night.

I've also just re-allowed scrolling on the menu, as I realized that people with lower resolutions may not be able to see all of the menu items (oops!).

I've tried adding a Guestbook, and a Yahoo Presence icon. I don't know if they'll work, but I'll try them out for a while.

I'm actually getting around to updating the Anime Critique page. I've written one more entry thus far, and plan to finish the other two today, if I have time. It's harder than it seems...

I might add a few pictures this weekend, but essays for school are starting to pile up, so I don't know exactly how many I'll finish. I'm also trying to do a couple of them for a few of the Yahoo Clubs I'm in.

I'll be updating at various times today, but I won't be directly saying so unless it's important, so check back to see if there's more.

I'm going through most of my old image files, and making them smaller. I've tried to do this without much loss of quality. I've also removed a few files, and re-uploaded one that I had previously removed. In some cases, I tried to fix the image, as the contrast on some of the older pencil sketches was not good. I may be adding some new files later today. If I don't spend all my free time on Na-- .. I mean, getting mp3 files from somewhere...

later:You may not really care about this, but... recall how I was making many of the images smaller? (All day I was working on this!! I can barely see anymore!). Well, when I started, I had maybe half a meg left on the site. I'm about a 3/4 of the way through the files, and I now have almost 6 megs freed up... just by making the files smaller. And here I was deleting pictures to make room for things... So this means I'll have plenty of room for the new pictures! I've already added many newer versions of images to all of the galleries, so take a look, and tell me what you think! Are the files too small, or are they ok?

October 13, 2000

Friday the 13th... an unlucky day... but all days are unlucky for me ^_^ . I've been uploading all week, but not bothering to write about it here, until now. I'm working on getting those writeups finished for all the pictures in the Visual Galleries. I hope to have all the writeups for existing images finished by this weekend, if not by the end of today. Also, all of the pictures have finally been made smaller, and the final count on the space freed up is 8 megs. I may start adding new images today, depending on time constraints.

October 21, 2000

Adding new images has been more difficult than I thought, especially now that I have essays and midterms to write. I've added one new picture to the Fanart gallery, though it's the same image that I uploaded to one of the Yahoo! Clubs I'm in. I might add a few more later today, if I have time. Much later today, I'll be adding one of my essays to the Writings section, just because I can. I'm also going to be slightly remodeling that page.

I'm considering making a splash page, and also a frameless version. The thing is, I like my menu frame, and making a frameless version would be a lot of work. A lot of work that I'm not sure I feel like doing. A lot of work that I don't have time for. But, I'm still considering it.

I finally updated the Writings page. I've also added a Rapidcounter search engine to the bottom of the page. I don't really know why. I've added another picture to the Shounen Ai/yaoi section, and should be adding another one or two soon. I may also get around to adding some pictures to the fanart and 2000 galleries in the Visual sections. I have three pictures of a prince from an old faerie tales book, but I'm not sure what section to put them in. I've also gone through some of the older pages, and tried to bring them up to date. I have another essay or two to write this week, so I may update several more times in the week, while not bothering to write it down here.

Thought of for Day: Deja-vu can be scary.

I've updated several things this week! I've added the k i n g o f h e a v e n Outenkun Shrine to a database, so it's been getting a lot of hits lately. As a result, I've had to not be so lazy about it... so, there's a new image, and all the Outenkun image pages have been brought up to date! I've added one more link to the Outenkun links, and will be adding more later this weekend.

I've added a few things to this Welcome page, and I'll be fixing a few more things up this weekend. I added a new picture to the Shounen Ai page, for a grand total of four. I'm thinking about putting my story back up, as well. I've also added a Halloween Kant Rant Series, which is basically a series of rants about the Kant take-home exam I had to write last week, making use of Yahoo's Halloween-themed pages. Anything to avoid Kant ^_^ .

I've added a new version of one of the pictures in the Fanart Gallery. Other things I've updated have been mostly cosmetic.

I've added several more Links, and a small to indicate.. well... new things. So far it's only in use in the link section. I've also fixed the link to the new picture in the Shounen ai/yaoi section. I accidentally had ".href" instead of ".html"... oops.. I've also taken the links out of the Shounen ai page, and put them in the Links page, leaving a link to that part of the Links page.
