Families. I hate 'em. There are such a vast amount of people out there who were raised badly, or treated inhumanly as children, that I'm not surprised that people grow up into fucked-up adults, and that there is a great tendancy for them to produce children of their own to continue the general fucking-up of the populace. I am of firm belief, that having children should be a privilage, not a right. I feel that people should go through rigorous training, the equivalant of a four-year university course (only with less useless classes, and with better professors), before ever even being allowed to conceive a child, much less being allowed to raise one. And a supplimentary exam would be required before any additional children could be had. I feel strongly in this idea. Following, are brief anecdotes, from my own life, to indicate examples of bad parenting, which would hopefully be illiminated by such a course for parenting, if it existed.

This is a warning to any family members who may read this; the truth hurts, but not as much as a damaged life, so deal with it.

I would be punished for things that my younger brother did, with the only explaination being that I was the older one, and should have been looking after him. Well, they were the parents, and even older than me... why weren't they being punished even more?

Trying to trick me into thinking that the Green Giant was being phoned, that he should come and hurt me for not eating my peas, was considered a good way to get me to eat food I didn't want to eat.
