Part Four
*Buffy was in the mansion, standing before Acathla. Suddenly a blast of light came from the demons' mouth, and a body tumbled out.
"Angel!" Buffy gasped, but he couldn't hear her.
A dark-haired girl was telling him something. When the girl turned around Buffy recognized her. The girl who had slayed the vampire earlier.
Buffy glanced at Angel; his face was lined with worry. He yelled something, then took off running. The girl yelled after him but he ran faster.
Suddenly, Buffy saw a flash of light. Angel was blocking the sun from his body, and Buffy's heart pounded with fear.
"Angel!!" Buffy screamed, "Get back inside!!" But he couldn't hear her. He crumpled to the ground.*
Buffy's eyes shot open. She sat up in her bed, taking deep breaths. She had no idea what the dream meant, or why the girl was in it.
My nap is definitely over, she thought to herself as she pulled on her shoes. It was around four, so she set out to find Willow.
"Mom, I'm going to the library. Be back later," she called as she opened the front door.
"Okay, honey. Be careful."
"I always am," she muttered to herself.
"Willow, we need to talk." Xander said as she was leaving the library.
"Yes we do," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "Why didn't you tell Buffy about me doing the curse?"
Xander sighed, "I don't know why. I just didn't."
Willow nodded, "So, you just let her go in there having no idea of what was going on?" she said angrily. "You know that's the reason why she left."
Xander looked down, "Yeah, I know." he said sadly.
Lyndsee gasped when she heard the door slam shut.
"Oh God." she murmured. "Angel!!" she called after him as she ran faster.
There was no answer.
Her heart began to beat faster with fear as he quickened her pace. "Angel!" she yelled again as she barreled out the door.
She stopped in her tracks when she saw Angel, huddled under a tree.
He was staring up at the sun, his eyes filled with confusion. "What's going on?" he asked, his voice shaky.
Lyndsee bit her lip as she crouched down next to him.
"Angel," she said, placing her hand on his shoulder. "You're not a vampire anymore, you're mortal."
