Thoughts
Ko'ah
Ko'ah, sleepless, watched a horrible memory flash through his mind that had haunted him for years. Sleep was pointless, it still came and with striking reality. That night it was raining, It came down with the fierceness of a thousand langolias, the most vicious animal on the face of the planet.
The Brood advanced relentlessly, destroying everything in sight. We had been dreading this moment for months, and now it was here. The ships came down in such numbers... We never had a chance...
Ai, what am I doing... I have to forget...

It was late and Ko'ah was heading to the hangout for the insomniacs. As he discovered, there were only two occupants- the bartender, and Razorback. Ko'ah had always been a bit leery of the brash and enigmatic man. He didn't seem like a bad guy, but there was more than met the eye.
Ko'ah took a seat next to Razor at the bar.
"Come for a drink?" Razor asked, without looking up from his drink, "Or have you come for answers?"
"Both, actually...but I only expect to get one of them."
"It has been a bit strange around here, eh?" Razorback laughed.
I don't think I have ever heard him laugh, strange..
"Indeed, strange," Ko'ah mused, "I have heard rumors..."
"About me, perhaps?" said a voice certainly not of a man. Where Razorback was just sitting, there stood Xenogears. Ko'ah jumped, and searched the room. "Be calm! It’s just me..."
"Apparently, they were entirely true," He whispered, "What happened?"
"It’s a long story, and you don't look like you could stand any more grief tonight."
"True. Hey, I will talk to you, I mean you two, later, ok?"
"Bye," they said in unison.

Ko'ah found himself walking down the corridor on One, towards Kym's quarters. He was drawn to her for some reason, and he had a feeling it was mutual. A gentleman to the end, he put on his best smile and knocked gently on the door.
"Enter," a voice said. Ko'ah placed his hand on the control panel and the door whooshed open. "Ah...I thought it was you... what is it?"
Grinning as usual he shrugged, "This place is just getting more and more strange every minute, and I can't sleep..."
"Yeah, it does seem that way....did you want to talk?"
"Not sure, but I could go for just about anything....."
"Well, I was just planning on going for a walk, want to join me?"
They found us in the lift to the core, already heading down to the vast depths of the newfound paradise. The ride down was silent, it seemed if it lasted for only a moment... but it was a long ride.
They exited the lift and walked to the shore.
"So..." Kym uttered the first word in hours. "Wanna take a swim?"
"Oh, no.." Ko'ah protested, “Not this time, you go ahead!"
"Suit yourself," she said as she stripped off her outer layer of clothing placing them neatly beside him...
She dove into the water and swan towards the island in the middle of the lake. Ko'ah watch for a time and reverted to his thoughts.
You like her don't you?
"I thought you would be here.." Ko'ah said, staring off into space.
The faint form of Maria shimmered in the lake by the shore, reflected by the artificial light. She was behind him.
"I could sense from the moment when I saw you fighting her after the TDF arrived that you were attracted to her."
"Well..."Ko'ah felt his cheeks burning.
Maria smiled. “I don't know what is to come of this... but I want you to be careful."
"I will..." Ko'ah started.
"No, really, I don't feel entirely comfortable about all of this..."
