ARTEMIS
| Artemis we meet later in the Sailor Moon series. More or less Mina's cat. Artemis is the white guardian cat of the Moon Kingdom. For reasons unknown, he is separated from Luna during their cold sleep. When he awakens he finds Mina and becomes Mina's white cat. Before Sailor Venus joins the rest of the Sailor Scouts, Artemis is the cat that Luna talks to secretly, through the computer at the video arcade. Although in the DIC translations when Artemis and Luna final meet the still talk about central control as though there really was one. (DIC screw up.) Artemis had a much easier time than his comrade Luna in training Mina. Artemis came into the possession of Mina, before the existence of the Sailor Scouts. He gave Mina her transformation pen, so that she could fight the world's evils as Sailor V. Believing that the forces of the Negaverse would return to Earth, Artemis was an important guide to help Luna to find the other Sailor Scouts. |
