These ancient war-machines resemble enormous tanks but instead of turrets they have huge humanoid bodies protruding form the top of their hull. These bodies normally have a head, a torso and two massive arms. These arms normally terminate in potent weapon systems like heavy cannons or rocket launchers. In addition the hull normally contains forward firing heavy blasters and bristles with smaller anti-personnell pods. Panzertankers are normally controlled by primitive positronic brains. They are not very bright but they are very avaricious and they constantly seek more fuel and ammunition. Indeed, panzertankers have been known to horde their own stashes of these valuable commodities in out of the way places like abandoned parking lots and underground silos.

PANZERDRONES
(Copyright Manticore Productions, 1997)
These are slave machines usually controlled by a Panzertanker, a Megapanzer or a Panzerdrak. They resemble normal workdroids but are in fact remote units of their controller. The controlling unit can see through their eyes, speak with their voices and generally use them as part of itself. They have very primitive positronic brains which enable them to operate without direct control of their master. They will obey simple commands to the best of their ability and one specialist area they are usually as competant as a human. There are several different types of Panzerdrone sub-system.

Disadvantages:
Robotic Body, Positronic Brain, Huge Size (gives all opponents +4 to hit them with ranged weapons).
Description:
Megapanzers are huge humanoid war machines standing up to 50 feet high and weighing up to 100 tons. They are controlled by positronic brains and they usually have their own personalities. Each of these machines was created in ancient times and given personalized weapons and names. They wander the Wastes slowly rusting, obeying their ancient programs and making war on anything that gets in their way. Sometimes they can prove suprisingly friendly to people who remind them of their ancient creators. However, the deteriorating positronic circuits of their brains ensure that they often suffer from amnesia and bouts of madness. Anyone who relies on the benevolence of a Megapanzer is asking for trouble.
