HISTORY

Elric is the only son of Althea Silvermoon, an elfin illusionist and Ruthar a human juggler. He grew up with his mother, his father leaving shortly after his conception. Elric and his mother lived as a part of a traveling group of entertainers. At an early age Elric was taught the workings of magic so that he could contribute to the company and earn his keep.

Having grown up with magic as a constant part of his like Elric has yet to realize the true power he controls or what a rare and wonderful gift it is. He instead has thrown himself into the study of more martial skills, weapons and battle tactics. He often ditches his magical studies to run through the desert. Thus he does not have the discipline to follow his mother as an illusionist. His unrest in his studies has lead him to a wider range of magical skills.

Being own of the few young males in the entertaining group, Elric was often given the job of packing the platforms the group used. This quickly brought out his human heritage for body mass. Elric enjoyed this growth in size and strength and pushed himself to greater strength.

When Elric came of age a few short months ago, he decided he would not continue on with the group but instead head out into the desert and make a life of his own. There he joined up with a group of nomads for a brief time he traveled with them and learned their ways. The last journey he made with the nomads was a cross desert trip to trade goods with the city of Tyr. He instantly fell in love all the action within the city and decided to stay and learn of the city and look for opportunities to make a name for himself.

APPEARANCE

You look upon a heavily built half-elf. His dark tan cloak stirs slightly in the light breeze. His tunic and breeches are of the same material as the cloak, only a lighter shade of tan. He wears the high boots of a desert nomad. He has shoulder length black hair which is pulled back neatly by a rune carved headband, revealing his upswept ears. His piercing green eyes scan the area as you watch him. You see the hilts of two thin short swords at his waist and the end off a long bow over his right shoulder. Numerous pouches are arrayed around his waist and across his chest.

PERSONALITY

Ruthar's desertion of the family has deeply impacted Elric's life. Elric believes that the reason his father left is because he (Elric) was not good enough. Therefore Elric constantly test himself and goes out of his way for no other reason than to be helpful and feel excepted.

His obsession for expectance has driven fear from him. He will gladly leap in front of the Dragon itself to feel excepted. His manners are good in that he treats all people as best as he can though at times he neglects the people around him in his quest to prove himself.

His sayings and to some extent his mannerisms are dictated by his surroundings and who he is with.
