Fly Cruelty

most importantly - I have never tried this, I was told about it

this probably some might consider cruel ... doesn't matter what I think ... I'm just telling you guys about what I've heard :)

you catch a big* fly with your hand (or any other way) - do not kill it or hurt it, there is a time for that later*. Now toss it in your freezer ... I assume it would be easier to put it into a small glass jar and close it so that you can later find the fly. After a while (under a minute - maybe even a few seconds?) take the fly out ... it should be somewhat frozen ... gently but firmly tie a thread around it. Take the other end of the thead.

from here on you have choices ... you can hold it till the fly comes alive (because it is supposed to) and you can call it your pet on a leash - you can pick up chicks ;)

the other choice - suggested by the guy who told me about this fly thing - pin the thred down with a thumb tack to a table and watch the fly spin around
