Hi! I'm LeAnna and I'm an aries! In case you're wondering, no I don't believe in all that astrology hooplah voodoo stuff- I just like to introduce myself that way and it makes people laugh- sometimes:)
Anyway, I'm supposed to describe me, right? Well, I'm a fairly simple girl.
I'm a not so average 17 year old who often fantasizes of running rampant in the movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and spends her time (enjoying it actually) maintaining a couple of webpages and drawing (I do some writing on the side but mainly X-Men fanfiction. I'm working on a story to go with this picture. Let me know what you think- wink wink nudge nudge).
Whenever you read this page and you read someone speaking in the first person (other than news articles of course) it's me :) And for all you bad English students (hey, I have an A finally! Been C average since 3rd grade!) the First person is I, me, my, etc. etc. etc...
I shall no longer be car-less (even if I lack a liscence) on September 5th cause I'm buying my sister's purple accent, the purple people eater which I shall stock throughoughly with strawberry cream savers and beef jerky (not to mention the cooler of pepsi, katie!). Oh, and leopard seat covers, red wings floormats, and a new 'mean people suck' because the other one is weather beaten.
I like all animals/species of life except most insects (considering there are millions of species and most that I know of creep me out), sharks, and Pat. Pat is evil and never got spanked as a child, although HE CERTAINLY DESERVES IT! (sniffles... Pat's going off to college and I shall have to annoy him long distance now- but he's given me some cool information on how to get my own server so this may be a www site soon ;P- thanks lil buddy!)
My hobbies include collecting comic books (X-Men and Batman), watching the new Batman-Superman Adventures cartoon (I love their style of animation!), programming this web page, Art, reading (I highly reccommend Michael Crichton as an author) and my role models are Julie Bell (Comic Artist), Indiana Jones (fictitious archaeologist)- they influenced my current career choices, and Audrey Hepburn- an actress who devoted her life to helping feed starving children across the globe. I want to try to model myself after example and be a more selfless person. Even if it means letting my mother use my Red Wings cup and my sister use my brand new rollerblades that I had to exchange the first pair in because she broke them....
Moving right along now, I've been into hockey about four years now and this page has been up nearly 3! As soon as it hits March '02, big party here :) This page got started because I wanted to expand my HTML skills and Katie and I wanted to make a page on a Red Wing- and being the attention hogging freaks we are, we wanted to make a first page for someone. Jiri needed fans (and Katie thought he was hot and Larionov was going to the Panthers) so we made one for him. I moved recently- about 10 minutes from my old place and have my comp and cable tv in one room- and believe me, the extent of my TV education has been from the sci-fi channel in the form of Tales from the Crypt and Quantum Leap (and I found out that my mom used to have a crush on that guy Sam- the main character).
My guilty pleasures include drawing self starring comic book with my friends, HTML (have I mentioned that yet?), pepsi, and last but not least, ZZ Topp- long bearded guys with furry guitars?! How could you not like em?! Art's one of 'em if you couldn't guess by the random pictures on the site I've drawn (yes, I really do have purple hair- and I'm wearing my doc marten boots ~my butt-kicking boots~... I love those things!) and that pink thing on my wrist is my hello kitty watch :)
