Archer, A seasoned Officer of the X.S.E. (Xavier Security Enforcers), he has the Mutant ability to become a being of pure energy. He once was a "Perfect Soldier", but after his family was killed by Rogue Mutants he decided that X.S.E. Was Ineffective and joined The (X.U.E.) and became the Leader of the group. Archer is a Brilliant Strategist in Combat with vast Knowledge of the Future and what has happened in his Time Line, He hopes to stop the Atrocities from happening in this Time. With his other Teammates from the Future and new teammates from the present they hope to make a difference for " Human and Mutant Kind". Archer has had a hard time adjusting to this new time and life of the body of Jude Black he took over when coming through a time portal, in which Shard opened and FIXX had PSI link to Shard to bring them into this time line. Havok is a new part of the (X.U.E.) with his help the members of the team from the future will do just fine in adjusting to this new time.
In the Future Archer was Part of a Elite group of Mutant Called the (X.S.E.) where he was teamed up with GreyStone, FIXX, Bishop, and many others. The team was like a Futuristic Police Force to bring in and Stop Outlawed and Evil mutants for causing harm to the people and Mutants in this Hell ridden Future. The turning point in Archer's life was when his Wife and Daughter were killed by Fugitive mutants in cold blood. That is when Archer decided that the X.S.E. was good enough for the kind of situations the team had to deal with in the time he lived in. So Archer decied to Join the (X.U.E.), he like how they operated and how they were in handling certin situations when they came up against a certin problem they did what they had to do to get it done and by any means necessary. Archer can appear as either Judd Black or as
himself, and he has the memories of both. Since discovering that Black had a family, Archer has quit X-Factor and had gone to live with them, hoping to replace the family he lost years before in the future.
In fact, before his death, Jude was tried in absentia by the Genoshan government for the murder of several hundreds of innocents. Upon meeting Jude Black (who was now Archer) in New Jersey a mysterious trio of Genoshan fighters attempted to exectue him until Archer bargained his life for that of his Jude's family. The Genoshans agreed, but were defeated by X-Factor who soon arrived in New Jersey and fought them. Archer quit X-Factor to go and live with them, hoping to replace the family he lost years before in the future.
It is unknown whether Archer retains his mutant abilities after the events of M-Day.
