Torres, Kim and Tuvok are working on the transporter, rerouting power conduits, looking for a way to conserve power. While Tuvok is on the transporter platform, there is an explosion and the transporter engages at the same time. Tuvok is gone, dispersed out into space.... Kim blames himself for the accident and for killing Tuvok. They're not sure what happened, but Kim was working on a conduit at the time, and he believes it is his error. The crew mourns the loss of Tuvok. Paris and Janeway will especially miss his calmness and wisdom. Shortly after Voyager warps away, the warp engines shut down. Torres can't figure out why, but they soon come back online by themselves. She begins running diagnostics to figure out what happened. As the crew discuss their feelings about Tuvok and have a memorial service, strange things start happening onboard Voyager. A strange purple glop pours out of the replicators, red and yellow alerts sound at odd times, lights go on and off. The computer can give no explanation for the unusual occurances. These strange events play out along with the crew's coping with the loss of Tuvok. Eventually, we find that it is Tuvok that is causing all these malfunctions. The transporter accident scattered him out into space, and when Voyager went into warp, Tuvok's atoms were scooped up by the bussard collector. Tuvok made his way into the computer core, which kept him alive somehow, since it is partially organic, and has been trying to get the crew's attention all along. They manage to route him to the transporter circuits and rematerialize him. The crew is glad to see him again, and most especially Kim...

Brannon's comments: He merely said it seemed too familiar...
