The New Chilkit Coalition was conquered by the returning Fab'Rini city ships during incredibly high tensions with the Confederation of Democratic Worlds.
The combined fleet of over 100 city ships breached the Coalition q-wall in the space between the stars of Kostolian and Champster. Here the fleet immediately split into two unequal battle groups. The largest of the two headed to Kostolian and conquered the system easily with few civilian casualties. They easily destroyed the few Chilkit military vessels in the system. The second group moved to Lysia and after a brief but furious battle took over the Coalition's main starship production yard.
Battle Group One, in Kostolian, was then met by a large force of Chilkit ships. A long battle occurred over the space of three days, with the Fab'Rini emerging as victors barely scratched. Battle Group One then headed to the Kora system, where another large fleet of Coalition forces were rumored to be hiding.
During this time, the Chilkit forces in the Three Sisters gave up. The Three Sisters fell to the Fab'Rini within five days. Battle Group Two then went on patrol throughout Coalition space around the Three Sisters. They took over the Industrial Centers in the dead star systems. They lost one whole city ship in Yusert. The people on board, however, were immediately transferred to another ship.
Battle Group One engaged the hiding Chilkit fleet in Kora two days after it attacked and acquired Kostolian. The Chilkit fleet, made up of mostly small, lightly armored and armed vehicles, was destroyed after a route left the remaining forces in Kora fleeing for Chilken system. This left the Kora system firmly in Fab'Rini hands. However, the main might of the Chilkit was centered in Chilken. The Fab'Rini had hoped to catch a few large, powerful ships in Kora before they could join other ships in Chilken.
Battle Group One then came under the command of Fleet Admiral Veyt, who took the risky move of attacking the heavily defended and incredibly strong system of Chilken, capital of the New Chilkit Coalition. His city ships, instead of coming through the plane of the system, went above the plane of the solar system and swooped down onto the inner planets from above, effectively avoiding outer planetary defenses.
The battle for Chilken lasted three whole weeks. Millions were killed, two city ships went down in flames. The Coalition crumbled as individual military commanders scrambled to take what was left of the military and defend anything left worth defending.
After waiting another few weeks for his fleet to repair, Fleet Admiral Veyt took aim at the Kriost system. Receiving reports from the far side of the Coalition, Veyt knew that all but one system in the Coalition wa under his control. A very large fleet of Chilkit fighters had assembled in Kriost to hold the Coalition's largest population centers. Veyt's city ships sliced the remaining Chilkit army to pieces. The whole of the Coalition was under the firm grasp of the Fab'Rini in less than two months.
