Nishiiwa Aurora

Nishiiwa Aurora is an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, closeted within a puzzle--and obscured by a whole lot of 'tude. The just-turned-sixteen-years-old girl has the capacity to get into no limit of scrapes, jams, problems, conflicts and conundrums--and yet to generally maintain a fairly cheerful, optimistic outlook. She is an extremely eclectic Sorceress, picking up snippets of lore here and there, from any of half a dozen different tutors, trainers and other sources. These she develops into a unique style of magic, including Ecstatic, Hermetic and "folk magic" elements. That this magic also seems affected, to some degree, by her association with the fae only adds to the odd feeling she generates about her. 'Rora's motives are usually unfathomable, even to her. She reacts on instinct more often than not--instinct driven by highly nuanced beliefs, opinions and fears which she is generally unaware. Probably the most dangerous of these are the ones that lie at the core of her being; the belief that it is her perogative, perhaps even her duty, to know. It doesn't matter what sort of arcane knowledge or tidbit is dangled in front of her--she almost always bites, figuring it will all work out later. While she's careful to never actually agree to hurt her friends, she's more than willing to perform acts that those same friends would consider questionable, even treacherous, if it advances some agenda of hers. In general, she is resistant to the moodiness that often strikes other girls her age, though with one caveat--she can have a temper, especially when someone insults her brother, the Sidhe Morgan. She is fiercely defensive of his reputation (and of her "exclusive rights" to be his tormentor), and has gotten into several verbal spats with others in their circle of friends over this. Aurora has a very strong attitude of "I'll try anything once." Given the supernatural presence in the area, this has caused no end of trouble; in particular, she's developed a fondness for being Enchanted, a process which eliminates her few remaining inhibitions--particularly fashion-related.
