The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D is one ofthe few and elite galaxy
class starships, comissioned on October 4, 2363 and launched from the Utopia
Planetia shipyards under the command of Jean-Luc Picard, the Enterprise served
as the flagship of the federation and was involved in many historic events including
the BORG incident of 2366, the blockade against the romulans in 2367, the first contact
with Romulans in years with the Romulans, and the destruction of the Rogue Borg ship in
2369. Unfortunately just after a magor systems upgrade in 2370, the ships drive section
was fatally damaged by an attack from rogue klingons. After a saucer separation the drive
sections core breached, the resulting explosion caused the saucer to crash land. The hull
suffered magor damage, and the ship was declared lost.
