Pagan Philosophy 101

Extract from a posting to Pagan-Home

Kwazi peers at a bottle floating in the hot tub. It has a scroll of parchment in it, which he extracts. Holding the bottle to his ear, he is almost certain he can hear the haunting refrain of the "Sounds of Silence". Opening the scroll he reads:

Kwazi's Rule of Permeable Deities:
There exists one Universal or Cosmic Power. It may be defined as "That which Was, is Now, and always Will be". All deities, male and female, result as a manifestation of man's desire to understand and identify with this Cosmic Power. All attributes given these male and female deities result from mankind's needs at the time of desire, and are directly proportional to the deficits and shortcomings of mankind at the time. New deities may be created at will, as and when the need arises. The foregoing does not in any way detract from the qualities and abilities attributed to the deities, and it should be understood that all deities assume, by the qualities attributed to them, powers greater than those of normal man.

Kwazi's Axiom of Universal Consciousness:
The Universe is sentient. It is unknown if this was always so, or as a result of man's desire to recognize a force greater than himself, by a process of creating an individual reality, which was globally generated and perpetuated by continued reinforcement. This phenomena may be likened to a holographic image, and it may be argued that any section of the whole carries the entire blueprint of the whole. It is also possible that each person contains within themselves a copy of the entire blueprint, but lacks the ability or mechanism to access this information, or evaluate it. It is possible that after death a greater perception is achieved, but for reasons varied this greater perception is not retained.

The Hypothesis of Dual Realities:
Each individual has within them the ability to manipulate, to a limited degree, the time and space around them. It is therefore possible, given the correct conditions, to be on a bus containing many persons. By the correct application, one individual may manipulate time/space, to avoid being late, without affecting the spatial relationships of the rest of the passengers.

Kwazi's Rule of Awareness of Greater Things:
Mankind has a genetic awareness of previous existences. A primal knowledge, not readily accessible, is constant in man. This translates into a need to believe in a power greater than himself, to which he aspires. This may have it's origins in the Ancient One's awareness of the natural cycles in nature, and their need, to re-inforce their authority, by creating the concept of a "greater power" than man. This generation resulted in forces which gave them credibility, and set them above the common folk, who aspired, not to complex thought, but simple tasks.

Kwazi's Concept of The Ultimate Renewal Program:
The Universe is sentient. This follows that the Earth is sentient, and will establish a balance in all things. Herbivores as an example, will show a natural increase in birth rate in times of good rain, and will show a decline in population in times of drought. This in turn as a natural cycle will proportionately affect the carnivore population. This has been termed the natural order of things. Advancement in technology expands the normal order of things with respect to mankind. This results in an expansion beyond the ability of areas of the planet to maintain a natural order. Furthermore, artificial manipulation of resources expands the natural yield of the earth to an intolerable and unstable level. In defense, in an attempt at stability, "natural disasters" and mutated disease result. This will continue until equilibrium is achieved.

Kwazi's Awareness of Deity Concept:
The ability to empathize with another is directly related to the individual's self image and self perception. Self awareness is therefore crucial to advancement on any spiritual path. Those who lack self awareness do not initialise self actualization, and consequently fail to attain spiritual maturity.

Kwazi's Doomsday / Armageddon hypothesis:
With self actualising reality, it is possible, should sufficient incumbents desire it, to bring about a so called prophesy of the end of all things, but for those participants who believe in, or expect the phenomena, only. Non-believers to that particular branch of religion, who are not swept up in the hysteria of the time will not in any way be affected by the final cataclysm some will experiance. This derives from the concept of multiple dual universes, as contemplated in the "Schlezinger's cat" concept.
