Division Command
Due to the unexplained deaths of the former command staff, the 8th Divisons HQ Staff, as well as the Logistics, Engineering, and Security Regiments, have yet to be fully replaced.
Division HQ represents the primary planning, logistics, training and supply force within the division, as well as the command rear eshcelon elements, such as engineering, intelligence and security. Although the Brigades possess their own rear eschelon troops, they report to those assigned to the division.
Also attached to the Division are three specialized marine combat forces, Marine Recon, Air Superiority Command and the Combat Armor Regiment. The Combat Armor Regiment is a highly specialized combat force, marines in powered combat armor, which reports solely to the Division Commander. Marine Recon and Air Superiority, which are split up among the three brigades, have their command and control structure within the Division HQ.

The 1st Brigade Command and Control
Commanded by Colonel Murabak sutai-Dok'Mar, the 1st Brigades order of battle favors the fast assault and flanking attack. The five cavalry regiments, with their air assets, provide for a highly mobile assault force, able to be deployed quickly to any area of the battlefield at a moments notice. The further addition of a Light Infantry Regiment, which is deployed via transporters, provides a lightning assault capability, to cover hillsides or mountainous terrain, and stronghold or space station assaults.

The 2nd Brigade Command and Control

Commanded by Colonel Goss, who is also the Division Commander, is the Brigade set for rapid attack on a variety of terrain’s. Using the mobility of its multiple Mechanized Infantry Regiments, protected by its Armor Regiments, the brigade is the most flexible unit of the 8th Division.

The 3rd Brigade Command and Control
This is the heavy hitter of the Division. Commanded by Colonel Mekez sutai-Hurric, who is also the Divisions Deputy Commander. This Brigade relies on its massive armor support to overcome its lack of flexibility. If the first brigade is a flexible tool, and the second is a hammer, then the third brigade is an anvil.
