Bruce is an avid golfer who played for his high school team. Bruce and his brother, Gary, placed third in team honors at the 2000 Bank Classic Tournament at Carper's Valey Golf Club in Winchester, VA.
Sherri graduated from Kempsville High School (1984-1990) in Virginia Beach, VA, and Old Dominion University. She worked for Senator Charles S. Robb covering hearings and generating support for legislation. She now is the Legislative Director in Washing, D.C. for Ungaretti & Harris, an Illnois law firm.
