THE LASOMBRA

The Lasombra, masters of the Sabbat, exist in the shadows from which their name was derived. They bear the curse of invisibility from themselves, in the sense that their images will not appear in mirrors, nor can they be reproduced in any form of electronic media, such as cameras. This affliction has caused many Lasombra to take on ghouls for the simple purpose of being "living mirrors," constantly reminding a Lasombra of his beauty. This is considered vanity by most, but who, after all, could bear the thought of never being able to gaze into one's own eyes, or even catch that momentary glimpse of reflection which reassures us of our very existence

Stats on the Lasombra: The Lasombra are incredibly powerful and influential Kindred. They typically lead most factions within the Sabbat, due to the respect they gained by working to destroy their Antideluvian during the Anarch revolt. In counterpoint to their aforementioned curse, the Lasombra enjoy a powerful combination of Disciplines(the mind-bending power of Dominate, the supernatural strength of Potence, and their unique ability to manipulate shadow with Obtenebration) which adds to their menacing reputation.
