Amanda Rogers (interrupt)

Counter any interrupt (except another amanda or a Kevin Uxbridge).

This card is THE main defense against temporal rifts. It is also needed if you play with Kevin Uxbridges so you can counter their Q2’s. They also guard against powerful artifacts such as thought maker and time travel pod.

Kevin Uxbridge (Interrupt)

Destroy any event on the table (except treaties)

This card defends against powerful cards such as Genetronic Replicator or Traveler. The key to stopping supernovas from destroying Borg ships or your outpost. Q2’s tend to get in the way, so stock your deck with amandas if you want Kevin to do his job.

Q2 (Interrupt)

Nullify a Q dilemma, Q2, or amanda.

If people always uxbridge your game shaking event cards, just Q2 them. These are good defensive cards but don’t have much use against a personnel stocked deck. They should be put in decks with many IMPORTANT events and interrupts!

This is the perfect Klingon card!!!! Female is rare for Klingons, [AU] is rare for Klingons, and Klingons have a lack of Stellar Cartography and Exobiology. Both are covered in one card!

Tong K’tinga Class

[C] You may hold people in stasis on this ship

RANGE 5 WEAPONS 8 SHIELDS 6

Sounds like it could make for an interesting card. My guess is not as accurate as what it will be. Hope you get this one of the perfect Klingon!!!

Feature Article: Q Continuum

Q continuum will be coming out very very soon! With it will come: A self-Palor Toffing ship (The stargazer), A cryosatilite ship (the Tong), a Mortal Q (With Physics x 10, Leadership - 1[with Gowron, who cares?]… Stats 2,Q,2), the perfect Klingon, A hoarde of powerful Romulan and Klingon personnel and ships. Where will this leave the Federation? Hopefully (For me) it will narrow the gap between the two "inferior" races and the Federation. I do believe that the game creators thought that the game would sell better if the Fedirats always won, but then planned to make the races equal in the end. I have heard many rumors of super-extraordinary Romulans and some powerful Klingons. When the Bridge crew become inferior to all of the crews opf the other races, then the game will be fair to those poor Klingon and Romulan players who always get kicked by the Bridge crew. I hope Q continuum will continue to have more unexpected cards like those previewed above. I also hope that they will include my second favorite ship class (the K’tingas) Hopefully there will be some interesting common cards for those of us who like to spend just a little. Good News… there will NOT be an Ultra Rare for all of us who despise the Future Enterprise because it eluded our grasp for so long. Hopefully They will think of another way of making Ultra rares. There should be a seemingly Ultra rare with a powerful game check to prevent it from becoming too unbalanced. Well, it will ship fairly soon and I am sure that all of us can’t wait (or at least the Klingons and Romulans here).
