Ayame

A young wolf demon from the northern tribe. She insists that Kouga is
engaged to her, and at first, this causes her to hold a rivalry with
Kagome. Afterwards, the two become friends. She has vowed never to give
up on Kouga, and has even decided to try to learn to see Shikon shards
if it will make him like her. She is determined and fast, but not
necessarily very strong.
