ITEMS
STANDARD ITEMS
Deku Nuts Deku Nuts:
Toss these onto the ground and they'll shatter, releasing a flash of light that will stun most life-forms within its radius. This works well if you're having a hard time getting some hits in. You can carry only a limited number of Deku Nuts, but Young Link is able to upgrade this number.
Adult Link with Bomb Bombs: Hold a Bomb in your hands and you'll have a few seconds before it explodes. Plant or throw a Bomb so that you can damage enemies or destroy weak walls or floors. Bombs can also destroy yellow boulders. The number of Bombs you can carry depends on the size of the Bomb Bag Link has.
Bombchu: Looking suspiciously like the Helmasaur from previous Zelda games, this is a mouse-like Bomb which crawls along the floor and up walls. If it hits something weak, or if its timer runs out, Bombchu will explode. You can carry upto 50 Bombchus, but they are annoyingly rare.
Fairy Bow Fairy Bow: This weapon is found in the Forest Temple with a Quiver which can hold 30 Arrows. It is used to fire Arrows; if you have no Arrows in your inventory, then Link will play it like a string instrument.
Wooden Arrows: The basic projectile fired by the Bow. These arrows can not only damage enemies, but are required to activate Eye Switches. Fire a Wooden Arrow through a lit torch to ignite it, which is how Adult Link can ignite torches. This is the only weapon Link can use while on horseback.
Hookshot Hookshot: A hook on the end of a long chain. Fire the Hookshot at a dead tree, target, treasure chest, torch, ladder or climbable wall and the hook will dig into the object, allowing Link to reach this location by reeling in the chain. The Hookshot can also be used as a weapon or to retrieve some distant items.
Locate the Hookshot by entering Kakariko Village's Graveyard and turning left. Along the row of graves on the left wall, the far left one has some flowers on it. Pull back this grave and you'll be able to race Dampé's ghost. Your objective is to keep up with Dampé, not beat him. You have about one minute, twenty seconds to reach the end, while also avoiding the flames Dampé drops. Make it and your reward is the Hookshot.
Longshot: The Lonshot is perfectly identical to the Hookshot, save that it has double the range. Take advantage of its laser sighting to see what can be grappled with the improved weapon. You'll find this within the Water Temple.
Megaton Hammer Megaton Hammer: A legendary artefact, used by a Goron hero to destroy an evil dragon which once lived on Death Mountain. Due to the weight of the Hammer, Link must use it with both hands. If you have Z-Targeting locked, hold left or right on the Control Stick for a swipe rather than a pound. You can also perform a Jump Attack with the Hammer. Use the Hammer to activate rusted switches, reveal hidden grottoes, destroy red and yellow boulders or attack enemies. Located within the Fire Temple.

MAGICAL EQUIPMENT
Lens of Truth:
Obtained by Young Link, the Lens is required to see where hidden and fake enemies and obstacles are.
Fire Arrow Fire Arrows: Using up a single arrow as well as 2MP, the Fire Arrows can burn enemies as well as be used to light torches. Getting the arrows requires the Water Medallion: on the central island at Lake Hylia (where the Water Temple is built into) there is a sign asking you to shoot for the morning light when water fills the lake. After reading this monolith, fire a Wooden Arrow into the rising sun and the Arrows will appear on a nearby island.
Ice Arrow Ice Arrows: The secret of these magical arrows is held by the Gerudos, and will only be given to those who prove themselves worthy. When you power up an Arrow with this spell, which costs 2MP, the target will freeze over and sustain damage. Complete the Gerudo Training Ground to gain these Arrows.
Light Arrow Light Arrows: Draining 4MP per shot, but are the most powerful weapon in the game and any enemy hit by one of these will always yield a high-value Rupee. The Light Arrows are sacred weapons, whose spell is only known to the Sages who take care of the Triforce. When you find Zelda, she will teach you how to power up your arrows.
Din's Fire Din's Fire: This fire-producing spell can only be found by Young Link.
Farore's Wind: If you're in an underground area which has a map, use this spell to create a warp point that you can use to return to the entrance of a room at any time. If Young Link has not obtained it, Adult Link can from the same location.
Nayru's Love Nayru's Love: This spell creates a blue dome around Link, protecting him from enemy harm. Adult Link can obtain it if Young Link has not. Using this spell drains 12MP per use, but it lasts for a good length of time.

EQUIPMENT
SWORD
Master Sword Master Sword:
According to legend, the Master Sword was forged to protect the entrance to the Sacred Realm. Able to repulse magic granted even by the Triforce, only one with a pure heart and mind and a strong body can use this sword. It is located behind the large door in the Temple of Time.
Giant's Knife Giant's Knife: The apprentice blacksmith Medigoron of Goron City has forged this large, powerful blade. Link must hold the Giant's Knife in both hands. It costs 200 Rupees, but will break after a few uses.
Biggoron's Sword: Identical to the Giant's Knife, Biggoron's Sword is far more durable and will never break. Though Biggoron's Sword has double the power of the Master Sword, Link sacrifices the use of his Shield while holding Biggoron's Sword in his hands. Complete the Event Item trading process to gain this.

SHIELD
Hylian Shield Hylian Shield:
This is Link's standard Shield, which can block most non-magic attacks. Note that Like Likes may make a meal out of this Shield: you can buy a replacement from the Bazaar. Though the marked price is 80 Rupees, Link will receive a discount.
Mirror Shield Mirror Shield: The surface of this shield is reinforced and polished, allowing it to reflect magical attacks, as well as light. Like Likes don't like the taste of the Mirror Shield, and so won't devour it. Located within the Spirit Temple.

CLOTHING
Kokiri Tunic Kokiri Tunic:
Link's traditional dress, now consisting of white coveralls under a green uniform, has been modified to remain of use to him with his new body. No matter what happens, this tunic will never need to be replaced. Note that if these clothes are exposed to fire, they will burn for some time and Link will continue to sustain damage; swing the Sword to put out the flames, or use a Rolling Attack to smother them.
Goron Tunic Goron Tunic: Meet with Darunia's son at Goron City and offer to rescue the Gorons from the Fire Temple. To help, you will be given this tunic. It can also be purchased from the Goron Shop for 200 Rupees. Wearing it, Link can remain in very hot areas for endless periods of time. Also, the Goron Tunic will never burn and allows Link to walk on lava for a limited amount of time. Note that Like Likes may make a meal out of this tunic.
Zora Tunic Zora Tunic: Getting through this adventure requires Link to be underwater for long periods of time....longer than his lungs will allow. By wearing the Zora Tunic, Link can remain underwater for endless amounts of time without his health being in danger. You can purchase this tunic from the Zora Shop for 300 Rupees, or free King Zora from the Red Ice which imprisons him with Blue Fire to gain the tunic at no charge. Unfortunately, to a Like Like, this tunic is meals on wheels, and don't insulate against fire very well.
Kokiri Boots Kokiri Boots: Strong, sturdy footwear which can stand endless levels of wear. They have been adapted to fit Link with his larger body.
Iron Boots Iron Boots: These super-heavy boots mean Link cannot run while wearing them, but they allow him to walk at the bottom of deep water. Note that Link can only remain underwater for a limited amount of time otherwise he'll drown. Locate these boots by going through the cold passages of the Ice Cavern.
Hover Boots Hover Boots: Located within the Shadow Temple, while wearing them Link can be said to have 'sacred feet'. While wearing them, Link can walk for a super-brief period of time over air or water. Note that Link will not jump accross a gap while wearing the Hover Boots, though they allow Link a little more distance than jumping (just!) and prevent him from sinking into shallow sand.

LIFTING
Silver Gauntlets:
These are located within the Spirit Temple, but Link is too large to fit within the necessary passages. Wearing these gauntlets, Link can move very large blocks and silver boulders.
Golden Gauntlets: Found Inside Ganon's Castle, these armbands will allow Link to lift giant pillars.

OTHER EQUIPMENT
Quiver Quiver:
Link stores his arrows within this. At first it can only carry 30 arrows, but there are two upgrades available, each which can increase this number by 10: get a perfect score at the Shooting Gallery in Kakariko Village, and score 1 510 points or better at the Horseback Archery Range at the Gerudo's Fortress.
Bomb Bag: Where Link stores his Bombs and Bombchus; it can only be upgraded by Young Link.
Silver Scale: Link retains this from his childhood, allowing him to dive upto six meters down.
Golden Scale: This scale allows Link to dive upto eight meters down. To find it, head for the Fishing Farm at Lake Hylia and catch a fish weighing around 14 pounds or more.
Stone of Agony: A treasure kept by the Skulltula family of Kakariko Village, this stone vibrates when a hidden grotto is within Bombing range. Note that the Song of Storms may be necessary to reveal the grotto.
Gerudo Card: This card is proof that Link is a trusted ally of the Gerudos, and a member of their thieving band. It enables him to pass through the Gerudo's Fortress without capture, and grants him access to the Gerudo Training Ground and Horseback Archery Range. One of the Gerudo chiefs will give you this after you free all of the carpenters from their captivity.
