(near the former New Kashfa) Rolandae's response to the series of crises in Amber and to the recent hostage taking of Rolandae citizens was sudden and in character to Rolandae's zero tolerance for attacks on its citizens. After consultation with its treaty with Amber with the GPC and Haven International Law experts, the Caine White Sail Trade fleet was unmolested as it flew an Amber ensign. However the Rolandae High Seas Fleet sank an entire Caine fleet of traders off the former New Kashfa.
The modern post Aegis cruisers levelled the wooden men of war of Caine's command with missiles and the battleships destroyed neutral ports who traded extensively with Caine. All Caine sailors were allowed to drown or were shot at or trained sharks were released to kill them.
Rolandae admitted it acted. "Caine is violating his ceasefire with Rolandae by the seizure of our people by the Crown Princess of Valdrusia. (now Acquitania) Rolandae considers this tantamount to war and while we do not violate our treaty with Amber, we will not tolerate that lowlife to dare touch our people. Now or ever."
"We believe Zariya will murder Rolandae and allied GPC hostages but we know that they are martyrs to Holy Brand and to the Rolandae sacred Swayvillist Brandite Monarchy and as such we will avenge them ten thousand fold." said the spokesman for the Rolandae foreign ministry in Garnath.
