(Amber City) The first wave of new businesses opened
their doors in the aftermath of the foreign businessmen
leaving Amber City. Utilizing loans made possible by the
Ministry of Industry and Commerce, men and women of Amber
City reached for their dreams of becoming independant
shop-keepers and merchants. With the boom of new industries
and shops opening comes employment opportunities for the
people of Amber. Although the new businesses are relatively
low in number at the moment, projections made within the
Ministry of Industry and Commerce indicate that employment
levels could rise to what they were before by the Beltane
at the earliest, and summer Solstice by the latest.
Those who are interested in becoming an entrepeneur should
contact the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. One should
be prepared to give a layout of the business to be opened
and to verify their business acumen. "For those that have a
dream to be an indepedant merchant, or craftsperson," said
Dan Iverson, the head of this new program, "you should follow
your dream. If you don't have the knowledge that you need now,
we can set up a series of lessons so that you can learn. All
it takes is a little work and perseverance."
