It is not worth an intelligent man's time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

...Zariya receives an invitation to meet Laszlo in his office, at her convenience.

            Interesting.

Zariya will send a letter back, specifying the time and date, so she doesn't just drop into his office while he's not there.

She will arrive, knocking on the door. She's dressed casually.

"Come in," chimes Laszlo from beyond.

Zariya will enter, nodding to Laszlo in greeting once she's inside.

It's difficult to tell if he's dressed casually, but his shirt is unbuttoned to the sternum, so he probably is. Since Zariya was last here, a map of Amber adorns the wall along with a portrait of the king in oils. The map is covered with vivid red flags with blue and black string making patterns between them.

"Thanks for dropping by," he says. "There's a few things I'd like your assistance on, relating to our favourite continent - Ardor. I've been chatting to Klaen."

"You are welcome, though I do not know how much help I will be," she replies. "I suppose it depends upon what you need from me."

"Plenty." Laszlo says with a smile. "I'm not sure how much I can take the lead now His Majesty has given me Ygg to deal with, and I need someone of your stature and ability to liase with the Guild of Elements. And lean on them when they dither. That's something they're very good at." "The long and the short of it is Klaen wants to see a liason group set up to co-ordinate efforts against the Court of Ardor, on condition Rory is excluded. Apparently our red-headed rottweiler has ruffled a few feathers in the guild. I don't suppose you'll see that as a problem?"

"If it is a liason group that they want, who else were you planning on recruiting?" Zariya asks.

"I thought Alexis would be a valuable addition. Possibly Breyd, but she may have got too close to the Rory/Ferris Axis." Laszlo replies. "You are the first I have spoken to, so ultimately it's your call who you want in and who not."

Zariya considers for a few moments, then finally shakes her head, "I would be happy to help you out, normally. However, I have officially pulled out of the Ardor business. The presence that I maintain there currently is mostly for economic purposes."

"That's a pity," Laszlo says. "There is much good you could do there, to counter the undoubted damage Rory is about to do to Amber's reputation. Still, thank you for listening, and if you should change your mind, my door is always open."

Zariya raises a brow, then nods in acknowledgement of his last statement. "You are welcome." She exits, stage right.
