To Her honored Princess Zaryna,
I understand that you know nothing of why I do what I do. I will explain as much as I dare to you. For ignorance of such things is better then knowledge. For thoes not involved.
I do not disrespect Oberon, I did originally swear my loyality to keep my head. For no one wished to tell me why I am here. Well they still don't, but at least now I know they do not wish my head. I knew nothing of Amber before I came to Amber. For I knew not why I was being summoned.
I do rebelly purposly against thoes that might some day call themselves my parents. I know nothing of who they are. I only know what they have done. Leave a child to become a goddess. I don't expect them to know what happened. For no one seamed to be even remotly interested. What do you think one is supposed to when they had to fight and trick thoes around you into letting said child into learning. While others are taught, their supposed to know it all by divine right.
Oberon, has given me a life where I can do things with out being revered. I can do things with my own hands, and not have servants rushing to do it for me. I respect Oberon, I do not disrespect him. He has given me what my parents wouldn't. The ablity to learn and make mistakes.
In respect,
Scherazade
Scherazade receives a letter from Zariya:
I do not truck with whores that prostitute themselves for power, favors, or status. Swearing fealty means perfect obediance and loyalty.
