(HBC - New London) Before they left Amber City, there was a schism between the ranks of the Brandites with the Siamese Prime Mrrr of NS in all but open warfare with the Tabbycat Prime Mrrrr of Garnath with Rory and Jason taking sides. It looked like the Brandite movement was turning on itself with Jason hanging more Rory spies than Oberon hangs Mecklenbergs.
However that all changed over night when a delegation from Neuvo Sangre committed every faux pas and diplomatic blunder. Princesses Scherazade, Zariya, and Breyd, fought like the keystone cops and a female version of the three stooges and managed to unite the factions of not only NS but of the whole Brand family interests against them.
Interestly enough Princess Scherazade tried to defect to Neuvo Sangre claiming her oath to Amber was under duress. Requests for asylum were denied by Count Davis.
They were chased out of town virtually by the skin of their teeth and with the population after them with pitchforks, firebrands, and dead rats being pelted at them.
King Oberon expressed mild concern over this incident. Palace spokesman, Gram, said that Balaam was assigned to speak to the three little maids and find out what happened and make a report. King Oberon has given Balaam full authority to investigate this matter and has assigned command of the three Princesses temporarily to the smelly inebriated lackey.
