Cycle of Fire
This series is one the I just read within the last several months. It starts with Stormwarden, continues with Keeper of the Keys and finishes with Shadowfane. It is a world where sorcerer training is disappearing. The last of the fully-trained socerers, the Stormwarden, seeks assistance in a fight against demons who threaten the land. There are three children destined to play a role in the coming events, Taen, Emien and Jaric. Taen, a crippled fisherman's daughter must learn the power a of dreamweaver. Emien, her brother, becomes enmeshed in the evil of the demons. Jaric, the son of the last Firelord, must overcome the fear of his father's madness and accept his role as the next Firelord.
