Belgariad and Mallorean
These two series tell the story of Garion a young apprentice to Belgareth
the Sorcerer. Throughout his life, Garion is shuffled from one small town
to another, not realizing that he is being hidden from evil powers that
would kill him. One day, his life in a comfortable town, is interupted
by searchers. It is then that he discovers his true heritage and learn
to fulfill it. His aunt Polgara and Belgarath help him along the journey
to defeat the evil threatening the land.
The second series starts with the disappearance of Garion's baby son,
Geran. Again, Garion must set out on a quest, this time to save his son
from the evil plots of the Murgos. Following riddles and prophecies, Garion
and Ce'Nedra search the continent for their lost child in order to thwart
the plans of evil.
