Toshibin Jengo
- Toshibin Jengo is a female human from the planet Wedtry. With the apparent
corruption in the Old Republic, the Wedtrians took steps to hide their people.
All knowledge of Wedtrian existence was erased from the galaxy and the
Wedtrians withdrew behind a veil of secrecy. As a result, Toshibin's people
were missed completely by Imperial expansionary forces. The New Republic
rediscovered her planet with the assistance of Kam Solusar and opened
relations.
- Toshibin had been trained as a Jedi Knight before the fall of the Jedi.
Her people's isolation allowed her to delve deeply into the Force on her own,
and to share her knowledge with others in safety. When the Wedtrians joined
the New Republic, Toshibin brought with her a group of Jedi gleaned from
Wedtry.
- When the New Republic went into remission and the Rebel Alliance
re-emerged, Toshibin began to doubt the wisdom of leaving Wedtry. During that
time, one of her students turned to the Dark Side and she was forced to
confront and kill him. The incident left her resolved to continue her efforts,
as she is one of the few pre-Endor Jedi trained.
- Toshibin is a slim, blonde human with an excellent physique. Her beauty
has charmed many of her students, but she unintentionally holds herself aloof
from them because of her belief in her destiny. She is now 45, and looks 25.
- The Force runs deep in Toshibin, and her demeanor is light and pleasant
while managing to carry tones of great import at the same time. Toshibin is
more at ease with other Jedi Masters, or with those students who show that
type of potential. Toshibin has sworn to bring back the Jedi Order at the cost
of her lifetime spent in service. Her dedication and focus are a model for
other students, and she conveys both characteristics to those she trains.
