The second half started out very defensively, with both teams being forced to punt a few times. However, Wrentham's Eddie George broke through Thunder Bay's defense for a 39 yard run. Wrentham continued with two passes to Sean Dawkins and then a TD pass to TE Ernie Conwell. Wrentham was now only down by 3. Wrentham's defense held Thunder Bay to only 3 downs again, but Thunder Bay did the same to the Rocketeers. At the start of the 4th quarter, Wrentham was forced to punt again due to a Godfrey Myles sack. Thunder Bay moved down field on passes to Slutzker and the running of Holmes. Then it looked like they would be stopped after a 10 yard sack by Russell Davis and an offensive holding penalty. On 2nd and 30, Thunder Bay ran for 2 yards. On 2nd and 28, Thunder Bay threw an incomplete pass, but defensive holding was called against Stan Seale and Thunder Bay got the first down. Thunder Bay was finally able to score a field goal after this nine and a half minute drive. Wrentham's next drive was cut short by an interception. Wrentham stopped Thunder Bay in 3 plays, but was unable to score in the last two minutes and lost the game 20-14.
Eddie George looked good in this game, running for 124 yards on 15 carries. Quarterback John Dutton, however, didn't look too good, throwing 2 interceptions.
The offensive line allowed 8 sacks on Dutton. Wrentham's defense looked pretty good, holding Thunder Bay to 3 and out
on many occasions. Wrentham's special teams looked great, returning most of the kickoffs to about midfield.

Wrentham got the ball first in the 2nd half and Wrentham's Bracey Walker returned the kickoff 51 yards to the Colfax 48. Dutton and Dawkins connected again on 21 and 15 yard passes. Wrentham was left with a field goal after they could not get it into the endzone from first and goal from the 1 yard line. Colfax made it to Wrentham's 40 yard line before they were stopped. Wrentham's drive was stalled by an offensive holding penalty on Keith Sims. Colfax was not able to move very far on their next drive, and missed a 46 yard field goal, but they still had the lead, 14-10. Wrentham marched downfield again, led of course by Sean Dawkins, but Wrentham was only able to get a field goal, leaving them 1 point behind with about 10 minutes left in the game. Colfax started to charge downfield, until Bledsoe fumbled the ball and LB Damien Covington recovered it on Wrentham's 38 yard line. After a 12 yard run by Terry Kirby, Wrentham had three plays that went nowhere and was forced to punt. Colfax moved downfield with a pass to Terance Mathis and running by its fullbacks. It scored again on an 11 yard run by fullback Charles Way. Colfax now led 21-13 with only 1:40 left to play. Wrentham started their drive on the 35 yard line with an 18 yard pass to Brian Roberson. This was followed by a 13 yard pass to a Dawkins and another long pass to Roberson. Then Dutton threw an 18 yard pass to Dawkins at the 4 yard line. Two plays later, Eddie George ran it in for a touchdown. However, Wrentham still needed a two point conversion to tie. Dutton handed to Eddie George again, and he ran it in for the two points. The game was now tied at 21 with 16 seconds left. Wrentham got the ball first in the overtime. Wrentham started to OT with a 19 yard run by Eddie George. Wrentham's drive ended after another offensive holding penalty on Keith Sims. Colfax started with the ball on their own 6 yard line. On 3rd and 4, Bledsoe threw to Gary Harrell for a 40 yard gain. Charles Way then ran for 15 and 11 yards. This was followed by a 10 yard pass to Jon Blackman. This put Colfax on the 11. Bledsoe threw a touchdown pass to Blackman on the next play and Colfax had won after a 94 yard drive that took only 4 minutes. Final score: Colfax 27, Wrentham 21.
Although Wrentham lost the game, there were still a few good points. Wrentham's new WR Sean Dawkins came up big, catching 13 passes for 169 yards
and 1 TD. Also, LB Damien Covington, in his first start, did well, getting a sack and a fumble recovery. The only player who did poorly was Keith Sims,
whose two offensive holding penalties really cost the Rocketeers.
