Episode 1: Aquachu?! I choose you!

Narrator: 5 years ago a boy named Ash, became a pokémon master. Since then no one has gotten as far as he has. As for Team Rocket, they were discouraged by Ash's achievement. Now all Pokémon trainers look up to Ash.

[Just outside of Viridian City, around noon]

(A boy is walking through a field.)

Dak:(Thinks) I can't wait until I become a Pokémon trainer. Only one week left!

(The sky becomes dark and cloudy.)

Dak: Hmm... Which Pokémon should I choose? Well this week's choices are…

(It begins to rain as lightning crashes.)

Dak: Awe man! Just my luck, Uh oh! Wild Pokémon come out when it's dark here.

(Dak hears sounds in the bushes behind him. He turns around.)

Dak: Huh… Ah!

(A Rattata jumps out of the bushes and Dak runs away. Dak runs down a muddy path, and trips on a rock. Dak hits the ground and then rolls down a nearby hill.)

Dak: Ouch! Ow!

(Dak finally comes to a stop in a dry clearing. When he looks around he notices a peculiar egg in front of him.)

Dak: What's that?

(Dak slowly touches the egg with his finger. The egg wiggles.)

Dak: There's something alive in there. He must be lost from his brothers and sisters. I'll take it to Professor Oak! He's in town right now at the Gym! I bet he'll know what this is.

(Dak picks up the egg and holds it inside his shirt to keep it warm. Then walks out of the clearing. When he gets back onto the trail the sky is blue then runs back to Viridian city.)

[Viridian City]

(Dak walks in soaking wet, carrying the egg. Dak walks up to the Viridian City gym and sees Professor Oak walk out.)

Dak: Professor Oak!

(Professor looks at Dak.)

Oak: Why hello....

Dak: Dak.

Oak: Dak, do I know you?

Dak: Well, no but I need your help!

Oak: Of course what is it?

Dak: This!

(Dak holds out the strange egg.)

Oak: Why that's a Poké-egg!

Dak: A Poké-egg? What's that?

Oak: It's an egg that Pokémon come from. Hurry up, get into my car, we need to get to my lab!

Dak: But your lab is in Pallet Town.

Oak: I have a lab here for when I take vacations.

Dak: Oh.

(The two run to Oak's car and get in, Professor Oak speeds away.)

[Oak's Lab]

(Dak, now in dry clothes, and Oak are in Lab and looking at the egg. Oak turns and types on the computer.)

Oak: Let's see.

(Oak puts a stethescope up to the egg. He hears muffled movement.)

Oak: Well whatever it is that's inside, is alive.

Dak: Really? What kind of Pokémon is inside?

Oak: I can't tell, until it hatches. When do you get your Pokémon lisence?

Dak: In one week.

Oak: Well, then this should be your Pokémon!

Dak: Really, I can keep it?

Oak: Yes, when a wild Pokémon's egg's touched by a human, it will abandon it.

Dak: Oh, I'll have to take good care of it then until it hatches.

Oak: Of course, you'll need this!

(Oak opens a cabinet and shoves numerous things into Dak's arms.)

Dak: What is all this stuff?

Oak: An incubator, Pokémon baby food, a Poké-ball for when it hatches, and blankets.

Dak: Oh.

Oak: Oh my gosh! It's 3:30! I have a Pokémon convention to go to! I got to go, bye!

Dak: Uh, bye.

[Dak's room.]

(The incubator is in Dak's room and Dak is staring at the Egg.)

Dak: I wonder what kind of Pokémon you are? Maybe your a fire Pokémon!? Or a Grass or Water Pokémon!

(Stares at the egg longer.)

Dak: I guess all I can do is wait.

[a week later. Dak's Room]

(Dak is watching the egg as usual, and Dak is staring at his Pokémon License.)

Dak: Wow, a Pokémon license. Hmm… I wonder what's tomorrow's Pokémon are?

TV: Well for those Pokémon trainers out there, your Pokémon choices are the same old ones. Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur.

Dak: Awe man!(looks at the egg.) Alright pokémon, hatch! I don't want to be the only one without a Pokémon! Hatch!

(Dak stands there.)

Dak: Humph! Hatch, Hatch!

[A couple hours later.]

Dak: Your not hatching.

(The egg wiggles.)

Dak: Huh?

(The egg wiggles more then begins to crack.)

Dak: It's hatching!!

(The egg cracks some more. And Dak hears a sound from inside.)

Pokémon: A-

Dak: Wow!

Pokémon: Qua-

(The bottoms breaks open revealing a blue hairy body with webbed feet.)

Pokémon: A-

Dak: Oh...

(The pokémon stumbles around with an egg shell on it's head.)

Dak: Hello?

(The pokémon shakes it's head and the egg flies off, and looks straight at Dak.)

Pokémon: Quachuu!!!

(The pokémon jumps into Dak's arms and he falls to the floor.)

Dak: What kind of pokémon are you?

[Prof. Oak's lab.]

(Dak runs in with his pokémon.)

Dak: Professor Oak!

Oak: What!?

Dak: My pokémon! It hatched!

(Dak holds out his Pokémon.)

Pokémon: Aquachu!

Oak: That's a Aquachu!!

Dak: A Aquachu?

Oak: That is one of the rarest there is!

Dak: Oh...

Oak: It’s a form of Pikachu, except it’s a water pokémon!

(Oak picks up Aquachu.)

Aquachu: Aqua-chu!

(Aquachu electrocutes Oak.)

Oak: I think it has electric powers too,

(Aquachu looks at Dak.)

Aquachu: Aquaaa!

(Aquachu jumps out of Oak's arms and into Dak's. Then Aquachu begins to lick Dak's face.)

Oak: It looks like it has took a liking for you.

Dak: I guess so.

Oak: Okay, to start your adventure, you'll need this.

(Oak hands Dak a blue pokédex, and a green pokéball.)

Dak: What is this?

Oak: It's a Pokédex, it holds the memory of all known pokémon, it will also record every pokémon you see and catch!

Dak: Wow.

Oak: You also got the all new Pokédex, with double memory, and hologram screen. Oh yeah, It's also used as your Pokémon ID.

Dak: Cool.

Oak: Now, all pokémon are born level 3, so are your ready to go?

Aquachu: Chuu.

Dak: Ready as I'll ever be.

Oak: Excellent.

[Outside of Dak's house.(The next day).]

(Dak walks out of his house with Aquachu. And his mom stands at the door.)

Mom: Good luck, Dak.

Dak: Thanks Mom.

Mom: Bye!

Dak: Bye!

[Just near the entrance to Viridian Forest.]

(Dak is walking out of a Pokémart with Aquachu by his side.)

Dak: Well Aquachu, we have plenty of supplies and Pokéballs!

Aquachu: Chu!

(A girl in a skirt walks up to Dak.)

Girl: How cute!!!!

Dak: What do you want?

Girl: A blue Pikachu!

(She picks up Aquachu, and hugs him. Aquachu, enjoys it.)

Aquachu: Aqua…

Dak: It's not a Pikachu! It's an Aquachu!

Girl: An Aquachu?

Dak: Yeah, he's my first Pokémon!

Girl: Really? My name's Molly, what's yours?

Dak: Dak, from Viridian City.

Molly: I'm from Pallet town.

Dak: That's nice. Now can I please have my Aquachu back?

Molly: But it's soooo cute!

Aquachu: Chu.

(Aquachu's face gives a red tint, and he licks Molly's face. Then Dak grabs Aquachu from her arms.)

Dak: He is not cute! He's a natural born fighter!

Molly: Yeah, well I don't care, he's still cute.

Dak: Are you training to be a Pokémon Master?

Molly: No.

Dak: You aren't?

Molly: No way, I don't like competitive things like that. Well I have to go. Bye!

Dak: Bye.

(Molly takes a separate path in the forest.)

Dak: Aquachu, in Pokémon Times Magazine it says that Ash Ketchum never had his Pikachu in a pokéball. Well since I'm going to be a Pokémon Master too, you don't have to be in a pokéball either!

Aquachu: Chuu!

Dak: Well Aquachu, where's our next stop?

Aquachu: Aquachu?

(Dak looks at his map.)

Dak: Well looks like Viridian city is just outside of the forest.

Aquachu: Aqua.

[Somewhere else in the forest.]

(Two people are walking in the forest, with Team Rocket suits on.)

Narrator: Uh oh. Remember these guys? What are they up to now?

Julie: Oh yes, we are now Team Rocket members!

Jeremy: And I we have snazzy new outfits too.

Julie: What's first on our agenda?

Jeremy: Uh, catch a rare pokémon…

Julie: Well, duh!

(A Spearow flies down.)

Spearow: Okay, listen up!

Jeremy: Oh yeah, I forgot about you…

Spearow: Your new to Team Rocket so I'll go easy on you.

Julie: Ooooh, I'm scared.

(Spearow perches on Jeremy's shoulder.)

Jeremy: Okay, where are we?

Julie: Viridian Forest.

Jeremy: Oh.

(They hear a ringing.)

Jeremy: It's the video phone!

Julie: Hurry, get it out.

(Jeremy gets out a device with a screen on it.)

Jeremy: Hello?

(On the screen Jessie and James appear.)

Jessie: Hello little ones!

James: How are you doing?

Jeremy: We're doing fine!

Julie: Yeah, what's it to you?

Jessie: Just seeing if you are doing as good as we did.

James: Yeah, we were much further than you, I'm sure we found a rare pokémon the day we entered Team Rocket!

Jessie: I believe it was a Pikachu to be exact!

Spearow: Yeah right, Meowth err, Persian told me all about you and that Pikachu!

James: What!

Jessie: That little rat!

James: We've got to go…

(The screen goes black.)

Jeremy: What dorks!

Julie: No really!

(They hear Dak talking to Aquachu.)

Julie: What's that?

Spearow: It's a pokémon trainer! Let's hide then steal his pokémon.

Julie: Yes, then the boss will give us money!

Spearow: Shut up! Let's go!

(Spearow flies into the tree and Jeremy and Julie climb up. Dak and Aquachu walk in front of the tree and stop.)

Dak: Well Aquachu, we've come to a fork in the road. Which way should we go?

Aquachu: Aquachu?

Dak: Hmm… Right, or left?

Aquachu: Chu!

(Aquachu points left.)

Dak: Okay, let's go!

(They continue on their path.)

[In the tree.]

Julie: Did you see that?!

Jeremy: Yes!

Spearow: I've never seen a pokémon like that before?

Julie: What kind of Pokémon was that?

Jeremy: Let's check the Pokédex that we jacked from the Pokécenter!

Julie: Good Idea!

Pokédex: This is a sto-len po-ké-dex. I am can not work.

Jeremy: Argh!

(Jeremy throws it out of the tree.)

Spearow: Spearow! That kid called it an Aquachu.

Jeremy: If we get that Aquachu, we'll be the boss of Team Rocket!!

Julie: And we'll be rich!

Jeremy: We'll show that Jessie and James.

Julie&Jeremy: Gya ha, ha, ha, ha!

Spearow: They're getting away!

Julie: Let's go!

Jeremy: Yes!

(They all run off.)

[Some where else in the forest.]

(Dak is walking with Aquachu.)

Dak: Look Aquachu!

Aquachu: Aqua?

(Dak runs to the side of the road and picks up a bottle.)

Dak: It's a potion!

Aquachu: Chu.

Dak: We could use this.

Aquachu: Chuuu!

???: Well isn't that sweet.

Dak: (thinks) I know that voice…

(Dak turns around and sees his old friend Ken.)

Dak: Ken!

Ken: Hello.

Dak: What are you doing here?

Ken: Oh nothing just looking at you pathetic pokémon.

Dak: Shut up!

Ken: Ha ha ha ha! In that case I challenge you to a pokémon duel.

Dak: Your on! Aquachu Go!

(No response)

Dak: Aquachu?

(Dak looks beside him and sees that Aquachu is gone)

Ken: Hahahahaha! You are a terrible trainer if your pokémon can just walk away like that!

Dak: Where did Aquachu go?

Dak: Aquachu!!

(Dak runs away in search of Aquachu.)

Julie: To protect the world from devastation.

Jeremy: To unite all peoples within our na-

Julie: Hey, where did he go?

Ken: Who are you losers?

Jeremy: Humph… We're Team Rocket!

Julie: Where did that kid go?

Ken: Oh, Dak? He went that way. Any ways I don’t have time for losers like you. See ya.

Julie: Who do you think your calling a loser!

Ken: You, the one with the skimpy dress and the dumb Raticate on their shirt!

Julie: Argh! Shut up!

Jeremy: Forget about him, let's find that kid!

Spearow: Yeah! Let's find him!

Julie: Right

(Dak walks into a clearing, and sees Aquachu chasing a butterfly.)

Dak: Aquachu!

Aquachu: Aqua?

(Aquachu turns around and sees Dak)

Dak: Aquachu!

Aquachu: Chu.

(Dak runs to Aquachu. Aquachu turns around and sees the butterfly and begins to chase it again.)

Dak: Wait!

(Pikachu runs after the butterfly, faster and faster.)

Dak: Aquachu!

(Aquachu doesn't looks where he's going and runs into a tree as the butterfly quickly moves to the side.)

Aquachu: Aqua!

Dak: Aquachu!

(Dak runs up to Aquachu and embraces him in his arms.)

Aquachu: Chuuuu!

(Dak hears a grunting.)

Dak: Huh? What's that?

(The grunting turns into a screeching.)

Dak: Aquachu, we better get outa' here.

(Aquachu nods his head.)

Aquachu: Chu.

(From around the tree, a Raticate jumps out.)

Dak: What's that?

(Dak gets out his pokédex.)

Pokédex: Rat-tic-ate, a rat pokémon. It is the ev-olv-ed form of Rat-ta-ta. Watch out for these wild crea-tures. They are ve-ry fierce, and can bad-ly in-jure Po-ké-mon.

Dak: Cool! This pokémon is a good catch. Okay Aquachu. Get ready.

(Aquachu shakes his head.)

Aquachu: Aquachu!

Dak: Oh, your right, let's get out of here.

(Dak, and Aquachu slowly step away. But the Raticate just stares in their eyes.)

Raticate: Raticate!

(Raticate jumps into the air and straight for Dak and Aquachu. Dak and Aquachu quickly jumps out of the way.)

Dak: Aquachu, we have no choice!

Aquachu: Chu

Dak: Aquachu, go!

Aquachu: Aquachu!

(Aquachu runs up to Raticate.)

Raticate: Raticate!

(Aquachu and Raticate both get into fighting stances. Raticate jumps, and kicks Aquachu in the face.)

Aquachu: Aqua!

Dak: It's okay Aquachu, tackle now!

(Aquachu jumps, and tackles Raticate, but Raticate wraps his tail around Aquachu's leg and throws him to the ground.)

Aquachu: Chu!

Dak: Argh! Use your Thunder Splash attack!

Aquachu: Aqua.

(Aquachu opens his mouth and shoots a jet of water at Raticate, but does not move him, Then Raticate begins to snicker. Then Aquachu's electricity sockets begin to spark.)

Aquachu: Chuu!

(Aquachu sends a bolt of lightning in the jet of water. It hits Raticate with a bang. Raticate's chard hairs begin to smoke.)

Dak: I think we won!

(Dak gets out his pokéball, and gets ready to throw it.)

Dak: Pokéball, go!

(Dak stops in mid throw, as Raticate begins to screech.)

Dak: Huh?

(The bushes behind Raticate begin to shake, then dozens and dozens of Raticate, jump out.)

Dak: Uh oh…

Aquachu: Aquachu aqua!

(Aquachu runs in front of Dak.)

Raticates: Raticate!!!!

(All the Raticates begin to charge at Dak and Aquachu.)

?girlvoice: Pokéball, go!

(A purple pokéball flies out from within the dark forest. And in a blaze of purple light a Vulpix appears.)

Vulpix: Vulpix!

Dak: Huh?

Aquachu: Chu…

(Dak gets out his pokédex.)

Pokédex: Vul-pix, a fire Po-ké-mon, It has five beau-tif-ul tails which can dup-li-cate as it grows old-er.

(Then Molly jumps out. The Raticate stop and look at Vulpix.)

Dak: Molly!

Molly: Hey, you remembered my name! Uh oh, the Raticate! Vulpix use your Ember attack!

Vulpix: (nods it's head.) Vulpix.

(Vulpix's eyes light up and it opens it's mouth.)

Vulpix: Vulpix!

(A blaze of fire shoots out at all the Raticate. The Raticate just stand there for a second, but then they all run back into the bushes.)

Dak: Why did you help me?

(Vulpix runs up and rubs against Molly's leg.)

Molly: Those Raticate would have eaten you alive!

Dak: I guess your right. Well thanks.

Molly: Any time, but I was watching you, and your never going to be a pokémon master if you fight like this, you need to get more Pokémon.

(Dak's face turns red.)

Dak: Well, why don't you mind your own business!

Molly: Well you don't need to be like that. I just saved your life.

Dak: Your right I'm sorry.

Molly: It's okay! So where you headed to?

(They all start walking down a path.)

Dak: Pewter City.

Molly: Me too!

(They walk over a hill, as their voices fade out.)

Julie: To protect the world fro-

Jeremy: Where are they now!

Spearow: Spearow! They're gone you morons!

Julie: We didn't even get to do our speech.

Jeremy: They're probably on their way to Pewter City.

Julie: Right.

Spearow: Let's go!

(They begin to walk on the same path as Dak and Molly.)

Narrator: Well, Dak's adventure begins with his new pal Aquachu. And they've already met new friends. What other exciting battles will Dak experiece? Will Team Rocket ever get catch up with Molly and Dak? Find out next time on Pokémon Hyper!
