Lonely No More
I was so filled with sadness and despair
The loneliness closing in
My heart becoming a blackening void of pain
My soul aching to find its coutnerpart
A lighthouse brightened the darkening
Allowing me to choose a course of protection
Otherwise I was ready to crash in the jagged rocks
There my angel waits for me with open arms
Warmth and happiness surrounded me
Like a cloak gaurding me
The darkness shrinks away, afraid to be present
My angel's touch calms my fears and anxiety
All else becomes passive except my angel
Our eyes meet revealing our souls
Emotions stirring as none I have even felt before
When we embraced we became one
Loving ultimately with unknown passion and compassion
The world spins by while we are frozen in time
Neither wanting to let the other go.
