History

Lily grew up in a small village outside the Dalelands. Her father and mother ran an inn and she tended to the stable. She didn't really hate it; she got to be around a bunch of animals, and she soon got to understand them better. Soon, however, she got bored of stable life.

Her parents knew that her daughter was smart (even if she did speak out loud to every animal), so they asked her if she would like to become a magician. She agreed, and was sent to Shadowdale to become a mage.

Lily showed that she was as much of a people person as she was an animal person. She was friendly to everybody, but seemed a bit isolated due to the fact that she both hung out with animals, as well as seeming to never lie.

One day, a squirrel appeared in Lily's room. She didn't know where it came from, so she gave it a piece of bread. The squirrel enjoyed it, and then went on Lily's bed to rest. While it was still on the bed at night, she decided to sleep on the floor rather than wake up the creature.

Soon after, the squirrel followed Lily around. Lily got to know the squirrel very well, and called it Pix. After Lily left the guild as a magic-user, Pix followed her.

She got back to her village to learn that her father was now in charge of the village. It seemed that the elder in charge of the village was killed by a wolf the day before, and Lily's father was ruled that he should lead the village.

When Lily learned that the wolf was killed, she asked if only one was killed. Her father said that was the only one, and they were looking for more wolves. Lily didn't like it, but her father told her that she was looking out for the village's welfare.

Ignoring the fact that Lily said wolves usually don't attack people, the townspeople hunted and killed the rest of the pack of wolves. Pix and Lily left the village one more time.

The next day, her mother and a handful of villagers caught up with Lily. The village was attacked that night by a horde of wolves lead by a druid. Only her mother and a few others survived the attack.
